Quote: "There is a major shift in the treatment of diabetes....". " More closely mimics the body's natural patterns....also leaves your body quicker, which is the most probably accurate to our human insulin our body will release if you won't a diabetic" " Do not have to calculate how much insulin to inject...." " my sugars being more normal and helps me feel better..." " Made a huge difference in the quality of life...". mssciguy, thanks of posting. This is clearly one of the best TV reports on Afrezza we have seen so far. www.afrezzajustbreathe.com/tv-news-report-on-afrezza/

Sent the link to my local news channels. Who isn't looking for a story. Even if they look at it once it may spur a future piece the next time it crosses their path.

Great stuff. Notice the mention this young lady started as a juvenile diabetic. The target group is probably 18+

I just finished sending this story, with the link & the suggestion that the story be aired, to the four major TV news outlets here in St Paul & Minneapolis, MN.
So I've done my good deed for the day.

this aired at 5pm I believe. So who exactly is watching local news at 5 pm on a weekday? What demographic? And is that demographic going to really go out of their way to try Afrezza? These are just logical questions to ask that I think I know the answer to. And if my answers are right, then these news spots are only going to play well to people who post on MNKD message boards. And as I tell my wife routinely, "dear, that is just my opinion. You are free to disagree as always."

Many retired T2's are watching for sure. But how do you know for sure? I am sure that is what they are hoping. I'd think a lot of retired T2s might now be on their computers or at the local bar/restaurant for early bird drink/dinner specials. I think the direct mailing to targeted diabetics is the best hope Sanofi has right now.

They watch the news and then sit down for dinner. (At least during the week.). I PT seniors so I know their habits. They are overweight and only 3 out of 10 even have an iphone.

One of the better spots for a news feature that I have seen. Both ladies are well spoken & hit the key points on the benefits of using Afrezza! Hopefully The Doctors & other daytime shows will feature Afrezza soon.... Awareness, awareness & more awareness!

Many retired T2's are watching for sure. Unfortunately I dont have much faith in type 2's reacting to anything. As we all know most type 2 diabetics get that way because of poor diet and lack of physical activity. This is not the case for everyone but for the majority it is. I don't see them taking control of their diabetes and making that life style change when they haven't their whole entire life. Some will but most will continue eating and leading a sedentary lifestyle. IMO this is why Dr's are so important for type 2 prescriptions for Afrezza.

IMO It is becoming more and more obvious T1 is the group that Afrezza is going to flow through

How do you think all of these TV stations are getting this story? The marketing company Sanofi is using is pitching this "health" story to them and some are biting. This is marketing disguised as news which costs Sanofi nothing as it is the tv stations that produce the segment. How do I know this? I use to work in tv news and saw this all the time. And just as I rarely tell my wife, "See, I told you I was correct!"
