Matt and DD have tremendous issues that require their immediate attention. I would prefer them deal with insurance and partnership issues instead of updating their website with photos. It has been a stressful week, month and year, how about putting the BK supposition on ice until there is data to support such claims. Although BK is at this point supposition, the "data" is more supportive of chapter 11 than not.

From the only info I have (the unupdated we site which was updated quickly when Mann took over) I am thinking DD will walk and that Mannkind will get crushed brutally when he does. In my mind there simply can be no other explanation for this. If they really are to busy to update it they are penny wise and pound foolish. Or simply incompetent. And no that is not FUD. I'm still sticming around thinking Mannkind might be 'a possible high risk investment with high reward potential. I was hoping for a pre JPM release of some minor good news followed by an outstanding presentation by the new CEO but right now I'm pricing in the new CEO walking and one more painful reality check.
Again I'm basing this on their website not being updated (and their past history of updates to the CEO job) and Matt's weirdly hedge comment last week but that's all we have to go on. They should and do know that. The lack of update is not IMO an oversight.

Wouldn't this require an SEC filing? Why would he miss such a golden opportunity to bring this back to the world. Even if he fails to do, atleast he tried and failed rather than just quitting.. I am sure DD is no loser
If jay Olsen and other analysts that dropped Afrezza from Sanofi estimates knew before hand , why would Mannkind management not know this in advance? I am sure DD was / is prepared for this .
If that's not the case , Al and team deserve this and we are the biggest fools for believing in them

so if you are correct, then the way I see it Al Mann would take the control again and a sale arranged. patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/result.jsf?currentNavigationRow=prev&prevCurrentNavigationRow=2&query=FP:(Mannkind)&office=&sortOption=Pub%20Date%20Desc&prevFilter=&maxRec=708&viewOption=All
IF: He will be giving up a lot of money. He was hired dec. 22 the cc Matt read, "It became clear as 2015 progressed, and sales forecasts were not met that change would be required for Afrezza to achieve market success" The press release: investors.mannkindcorp.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=948255

If that's not the case , Al and team deserve this and we are the biggest fools for believing in them I've always maintained trying to do my own due diligence and am not happy at all as to where this company is at. I was happy when they signed on with Sanofi because they needed that big player but I think it's pretty apparent the strategy changed after Viehbacher got canned. I've been holding my shares for about 3 years and have averaged down to $3 but this entire experience has been absolutely bizarre. The last week I've had mixed emotions of just sell the damn company to Google for $6/share and let me be done with this travesty to come on Mannkind battle back and make Afrezza a global success along with signing multiple partnerships for other products and become that company you set out to be. I'm still a bit nervous about Duane but for gods sake I would hope he would have done his own due diligence prior to signing on and hearing the rumblings of the MNKD/SNY relationship. I mean this man knows probably everyone in the diabetes industry and SHOULD know what he is getting himself into.

Why leave yourself exposed to these kinds of discussions by forgetting to take the 5 minutes necessary to update a websiite than? It almost defies logic. Not having a picture is not a valid excuse. Sanofi dumps on the 5th. The new CEO starts on the 5th. I get he needs to be shielded from the past on that day. All good. Now the 9th. No communication from him. No updated website after 4 days? Really? If this is enough to get us to talk about it (and I am certain we are not alone in having noticed this 'small detail') than it is a major problem whichever way you explain the fact Mann is still listed as CEO.

Would you all calm damn with this nonsense about DD has quit his job not knowing. Everyone at mannkind has been knowing. Matt clearly stated we will hear more from DD in the coming weeks and said they will present next week on Wednesday also with q.a session. mannkind website isn't up to date on several items.

This thread is a bit "irritating. It is highly probable that the web page is updated by some assistant using some standard editor. Now the question was why didnt they updated the site when they knew either due to a gentleman's agreement by SNY to tell them in advance or by analysing SNY's lack of interest. Even if the board knew what is going to happen everyone at MNKD would have known it very soon (and by this the whole community) if this assistant would have prepared a new version of the web pages in advance.

I actually called the number that Lakers provided yesterday and the answer machine indeed says DD number. You can confirm yourself. Yes i know this does not mean we can be sure DD is already on board. The message that Matt replied to such question seems very legally guarded. This worries me a lot. However i can think many justifications why the website has not been updated even DD has already joined the company for 5days.

I heard many people believe DD has quit his position after receiving news of Sanofi departure. I was asked to email Matt and have them update their website as proof that he will still be with MannKind. Since it is late Friday evening, I called, unfortunately he is not in but the receptionist instructed to read the press release regarding JPM. In the release, it states both Matt and DD will be attending the conference. In addition, Matt will be traveling next week. I will email Matt expressing everyone's concern that the website has not been updated. I suspect Matt is traveling to Paris to discuss his relocation expenses with Sanofi. Just kidding. It appears that some on this board place to much faith in Matt. It might be time for the new CEO to bring in his own management team including a new CFO.

When has MNKD's website ever been up to date on anything? That has been a common complaint for years.
