Hopefully after approval we get a 60 minutes type interview with in depth coverage. Maybe we get lucky like we did with ARNA when there was an HBO special about overweight Americans just at the same time ARNA was up for approval. It's bound to happen sooner or later. And when we do hit the main stream media look out folks, there will be no stopping this train! Not pumping. Just very excited over the great prospects we have ahead of us!

Hi bg,
Welcome! I think very shortly, it will be available on Fox's website. We'll try to get a link at that time.

I thought the interviewer gave Al a FANTASTIC opportunity to address the data release and people's interpretations. He miserably failed. IMO. This was a fantastic opportunity to set the record straight. He didn't seem prepared. No difference than the conf call. They don't seem prepared to address detractors. All they want to do is release data and to hell w/ defending it.
Al needs to step out of the limelight. I hope Greenfield is the first of many steps to sideline Al.

I agree w/ OPC. Al had the perfect opportunity to use his superior knowledge of the facts to shut down his detractors, but instead he says "their crazy". Sorry, but there is no information value there. Even if he had said "look at the data and statistics and they will lead you to the right conclusion". I kind of wonder if Al is gun shy after having been sued.

ugh. that was an opportunity lost. underimpressed (i usually love listening to him). i'm thinking al calls all the shots and no one can override him or give him advice- he must have a lot of "yes" men and women working for him. he needs a ballbuster around and hopefully greenhill takes some initiative.

I think it was a good and fair interview. Charles Payne was fair. The segment was too short to really get into all of the details. It was a typical financial network segment. Those segments are just good for getting exposure for company and the story. From there, it is up to you to dig if you want. Hopefully people who saw the segment will get to digging.

I agree with purge that the segment was just too short to squeeze all the information we were all hoping for. I hope there will be some in depth coverage next spring not just a few sound bites.

Al is a kind guy; when he accidentally interjected the interviewer he said "I'm sorry" in a humble manner. Glad to see those mannerisms from a billionaire, when he could have easily been a douche. The interview was just fine, it was a short segment that was suppose to introduce Afrezza and enticed a spike when he did a MNKD stock mention (MNKD is up over 10% today).

i thought charles payne was more than fair and tried to give al the opportunity to say something of substance. yes, it's too short a time frame to get in depth. but at least mention that afrezza has loads of trial data supporting it's pulmonary safety, and more importantly that the trials were designed in cahoots with the fda and met all of their primary endpoints. also, just hold up the inhaler like you usually do, al, and show people how conveniently small it is....

Would have been nice for the moderator to pronounce Afrezza correctly, too. It's not Afrezza! Period!

I can't argue that it was a rare opportunity for Al to make a rebuttal, but let's keep in mind that (1) the interviewer controlled the segment and was not exactly a brainchild, and (2) Al really didn't have time to get into anything more than making a couple of quick remarks. Al's a gentleman. old school, and maybe too humble for today's kamikaze market. I suspect he was told, "Okay, Al. You've got two minutes. Just answer the questions." A younger, more dynamic CEO WOULD be an advantage. But we are where we are because Al coughed up almost a billion bucks. :)

Might be an interesting experiment to clone Al and raise Al 2.0 in an environment conducive to exploiting all the positive attributes of Al 1.0. Although unethical, it would sure be interesting and would be a great start to a science fiction novel!
