More good news:-) A consultant with MNKD who had been interduced to Dr. Combs through E-mail by me started talking on the phone and ended up agreeing on a time to get together. Dr. Combs told me he was very impressed with the man. That he was passionate about Afrezza and very articulate! Thursday morning Dr. Combs came into the gym and we did cardio together. He was excited. He said he had his first person he could put on Afrezza! ( Think ten times Dr.Oz! ) Then he asked what time the man from MNKD was coming Friday. I told him that he was coming early and getting a work-out in with me, and then was meeting with Dr. Rahman. www.ranchofamilymed.com/our-staff/providers/dr-maisara-rahman/Walt said, great! Tell him I'll meet him on the courts at 8:00 and will get a game of hoops in. I'm thinking.. this is going to be awesome! More time to talk about Afrezza. It all worked out as planned:-) They played hoops for about 10 min and then Walt, his brother, Walts CEO of Rancho Medical were all in a hurdle talking and hearing about the wonders of TS and Afrezza. I was with my client Tom who has the teens on Afrezza so we were all there. As Walts CEO ( Josh Snow) was leaving I ran and got my dreamboat I keep in my bag to show people. I caught up with him and demonstrated how to load it and then took a long deep breath in... held it for 3 seconds and blew it out. And said, It's just freedom! He's eyes got as big as saucers, I've never been able to hold this mans attention for so long. I told him about Tom's kids and that whole story. He was mesmerized! And just said. This is going to be big! Being very encouraged by that I then went and showed my boss who was teaching a cross fit class to a bunch of rich business men. He stopped the class and they all watched as I showed them the dreamboat. Then they started asking me about MNKD and SNY and the story of what happened. One said, this is ground floor stuff! What's the ticker? In the mean time the consultant is still talking to Walt. Then later in the day he met with Dr. Rahman and gave her a presentation on Afrezza. She is the one who is in charge of the diabetic seminar. Which has been postponed a month. ( Walt has been flying back and forth to Haiti ) An early adapter called in and gave his testimony to Dr. Rahman. She was very impressed and plans for a presentation at the seminar are forthcoming:-)). Stay-tuned Awesome job, Sports! This could be a model Afrezza account if the MNKD field team makes darn sure their first few patients get excellent results. Pull out all the stops! These doctors' expectations are going to be sky high. Let's not repeat SNY's critical mistakes by sending hundreds or thousands of patients home with 4U cartridges and very little clue as to proper dosing, TIMING and possible follow-ups for high fat meals. If Dr. Combs' and Dr. Rahman's first Afrezza patients get the right support and training, they will be unstoppable! All thanks to you, Sports. |

I don't know word of word what was shared. But he will be dialing it in at a dinner we are planning before the seminar.

Someone said to me on Twitter he was trying to come up with ways to approach people.
This is how I feel: When I watch that video of Al at some conference where they weren't even talking about Afrezza. But he pulls the Dreamboat out of his pocket anyway and holds out his hand..so proud of it! So proud! ( It's still chokes me up.). So I promised myself when Al died that I would always keep a Dreamboat in my pocket:-)
I really feel like I have the iPhone number 20 in there! And no one has seen it yet!! So it makes it easy to want to share it! Just think, if you did have an iPhone from the future wouldn't everyone want to see it? Would they care if you owned AAPL stock! No! They'd think you were smart to be an investor!
Also I've noticed that it makes a big difference if you demonstrate how to inhale it. It really shows how easy it is.

For as long as I can remember, sportsrancho and others have made the argument that very few people in the U.S. even know about Afrezza. The response to her efforts in southern California appear to validate the belief amongst many of us that once patients and doctors become aware of how Afrezza works, they will get excited and want to try it. Who knows? Perhaps Afrezza may even attract some investors to buy MNKD stock, once they become aware of its effectiveness and simplicity. Most of us here are well informed about this company and it's FDA-approved insulin. However, I suspect that the vast majority of Wall Street remains ignorant of this stock, company and drug. Notice how many times that I used the word, "aware"? Based on the reaction that sports has reported, I am optimistic about MannKind launching the Afrezza marketing campaign and the response we'll see as they focus on building awareness among patients and doctors in the U.S. |

Very few people know you guys, Let's stop hanging our heads over the stock thinking we might have made a mistake. Let's hold our heads up high! Knowing with the Dreamboat in our pocket we hold the future. That's how Mike C. feels I'm sure!!

IF the picture depicted on "sports" posts is really her, you have a very good point babaoriley! That alone should entice any red blooded man on the planet to set up a meeting! And while there, maybe even talk about AFREZZA! We've waited this long...Hopefully the increase in scripts rises in the week, months, years to come! Enjoy the weekend everyone! GLTA MNKD LONGS! careful, # 1.. It's me. #2..I agree with you. #3 reverselo doesn't know what he's talking about. ( And there would be nothing desperate about it! ) #4...It will happen, and it will be about Afrezza:-) #5..Always listen to baba:-))) Some of you fanatics get so sensitive. If you go back and look I had told others to relax, and that they should not be concerned that Mike did not drop everything to respond to your message. Scripts have dropped from the previous week. We have a group of doctors interested in the drug yet MNKD hasn't reached out yet. No offense to Sports but should Mike derail his strategy because a share holder messaged him on Twitter about a Dr she knows who may be willing to prescribe? Do you know what kind of messages these guys get from share holders and now all of a sudden they should take this one seriously? Come on guys this is rocket science lol Maybe its the way you said it? But thanks, and obviously they did take it seriously. |

Do you know what kind of messages these guys get from share holders and now all of a sudden they should take this one seriously? Come on guys this is rocket science lol Maybe its the way you said it? But thanks, and obviously they did take it seriously. I'm very blunt and it can come off as rude. IMO MNKD management is probably flooded with all sorts of crazy messages. IMO they should not drop everything, and respond to a message frrm a share holder. A little research on social media would reflect that Sports is dedicated to this company and the success of Afrezza. So give them time to vet her and the Dr's she is suggesting they contact. Give them time..... That would have been a better way to put it |
