We've waited a very long time for the turn that many of us have long sought. We know the product is amazing yet the results to date have been horrible up to and including the start of the 2.0 launch which wasn't a surprise. Mike C explained why scripts were relatively flat last week which was based on the one-time changeover in supply to MNKD branded Afrezza and the related computer systems at distributors needing to reflect this. Matt said previously it would be August and September when scripts would begin rising. We could be at the very end of a long struggle and low share price. I cannot wait to see script results in the next several Fridays and what happens to the pps. There are many who think this will take much longer to make the turn. I don't. I have followed this journey for years and believe the turn starts now...all IMHO.

Personally I don't see scripts rising much for another 60-90 days. You have to figure at least 30 days after the titration pack is used and perhaps 30 days to get the titration pack if its an old school Doctor.

Thanks akemp3000 for posting this, just what I needed today. From your keyboard to God's ears. To God's eyes, unless God is using text to speech, in which case I hope it works better for Him than it does for the rest of us.

Didnt Mike C. say something about vouchers for titration packs since there were not enough sample packs out. He also said this is a ploy to get the titration packs stocked at pharmacies. But in the end shouldn't those also be seen in the NRx? Just like a good drug dealer first hit is free make money off repeat business.

Approximately 20k-30k scripts were written for the Sanofi-branded Afrezza with about 70% of PWDs choosing not to renew due either to poor instruction of how to titrate or because of no reimbursement / high co-pays. Those PWDs are being invited to try Afrezza again with much better titration instructions, a new 180-cartridge titration pack, a MannKind Cares program to streamline and expedite the prior authorization process required by some plans and a simplified $15 co-pay plan. A consumer website for Afrezza and a DTC printed, digital and direct mailing marketing campaign will begin in 3-6 weeks by an advertising agency which specializes in marketing disruptive drugs / devices. It didn't escape me the context in which Castagna used the phrase "new paradigm" to describe Afrezza when he was talking about marketing plans. I stand by my earlier analysis, confident that Afrezza sales will attain 3,000 scripts per week by EOY 2016.

I have followed this journey for years and believe the turn starts now...all IMHO. Agreed. I have been in this investment for a long time and after reading the transcript from the call yesterday, I feel more positive than ever. Getting control was key. The Sanofi deal was destined to fail from the start as the reps were still selling the old technology which was paying the mortgage. Its exactly why Tesla motors didn't allow the existing dealer network sell their cars. the existing dealers were not familiar with electric cars and it was harder to sell, so why not sell a gas car. When disrupting the market, you cannot rely on the old guard to push for the new. Heck its human nature. so now that we have a dedicated sales force, who only gets paid with the sale of afrezza, we will see exponential growth in sales in the coming months. as crazy as this sounds, i think its time to add to position.

mnholdem, FWIW, Trx would have to increase by a little over 12%/week to go from 268 to 3000 by EOY 2016.

I bought some more today, at 92 cents. Sure seemed like a bargain after listening to the CC yesterday.

I will be satisfied if we grow the TRx to somewhere higher than the high water we achieved under Sanofi (i.e., some where around 600 weekly) by EOY 2016 and 3,000 weekly by EOY 2017. And from there, I then expect us to double the weekly TRx every year.
