I would've thought that Matt own more shares them with the document shows. Perhaps many of his future options are based on PPS being hired And of course sales.

In the past, when insiders have sold the price has dropped. The stock is slightly down right now but mostly even. I wish an insider purchase had the same effect as an insider sale.

I think he holds a very small position for someone with the company a long time and now in a top position. He is a very weak inside holder and his position does express doubt about the outcome of the current struggle to move sales before dilution.

He holds a lot of options and he plans that they will be in the money in the future.

However to be fair, Matt is not making millions of dollars a year.I am not well versed on this but does Matt buy options are have they all been given to him?

The insider deals show $0 cost so they are probably given as an LTIP. His Bloomberg page - Matthew J. Pfeffer

If they need to raise money by selling stock, do his options get diluted or do they adjust and hold they hold their value? That is can he do better with options in the event of stock dilution or do his options lose value in a dilution?

You cannot tell at what price is options exercise, or if those options get diluted in the event stock is sold to fund operations. I assume they do get diluted, but that would be something to know. Generally, I would like to see insider buying at this $1 level because it signals those insiders think this is the bottom. I did think the purchases announced to day were in that spirit, and it was not chump change, yet not a major statement either. Altogether any insider buying by those two is encouraging and I hope they continue doing more buying. There were no 13F filings, so the tuts have not decided this is the bottom as of June 30, but personally, I think it is the bottom if the reps know how to make the scripts take off, which we should start to see pretty soon.

Am I the only one who sees this as a confirmation that Matt does not have any Insider info relating to any potential deals? Or am I understanding that rule the wrong way?

You can find exercise prices on the restricted shares in all the SEC filings, if you want to browse through several years worth of them...
I am interested in part of your statement, though. Institutions are required to make 13F filings if they position themselves to hold 5% or more of the outstanding shares of MNKD. Are you suggesting that various 'tutes will be acquiring those kinds of massive positions once they think PPS has hit bottom?
