Here is the question plain and simple. Can Vdex physician/ practioner in california, have a physician transaction through a internet cam to - conduct patient history - have the patient email the spirometry test, - write a prescription for "dad" in the Dakota's ? ? ? ?
What do the laws allow state to state ?
Just asking

this is good news to my ears. legal state to state prescription with physician histories and interview with lab work done here and sent to the physician, the physician sends the prescription. sweet business plan.
Do I have this correct a mundo? thank you, so much
So, in concept. Dad could have his spirometery and lab draws per orders done here, have his patient history sent. Have a web cam patient interview. Have the prescription sent? Through Vdex California location?
Sweet. I think this is correct, any one else? all? Mannmade?

Has Vdex seen any patients yet? Has anyone seen the office? Have they written any afrezza scripts? It would be nice to have 1000 Vdex offices if they are writing scripts. It seems like radio silence since their announced opening. Zero, nadder, zip updates to their website.

It seems like radio silence since their announced opening. Zero, nadder, zip updates to their website. It is not easy to start a new business. It takes time. Forget about the idea of 1,000 VDEX offices for now. It is not like McDonolds or KFC. It could have 1,000 offices. But that should take at least 10 years or longer. Realistically, if it can survive for now and then expand to a few offices in a year or two, that's a success to me.

The one thing I learned in starting my businesses was almost everyone said "you can't do that". The greatest lesson I learned over the years was to ask the question "why not". It didn't matter if it was public or private or nfp all I every heard was "you can't do that". I know Jack Bogle was told the same thing. Vdex, I like the idea but Onduo concerns me or I would have already started my own. The Vdex model using the Teledoc concept and staffing with PAs seems not very hard to do. I think it would easier than starting Wendy's and I knew Dave Thomas from Arthur Treacher's Fish&Chips where he was an investor and store manager and guess what he was told about Wendy's, yep, "you can't do that nobody will buy a square burger". I would think you would really want them in the Walmarts and Costco's or next to the CVS mini-clinic. Maybe targeting the Project Power market, would be a winner and running them out of churches. Now with full Medicaid covered for afrezza leveraging Project Power could very well work. Maybe I could leverage Onduo's "product" they are piloting with Sutter and Allegheny. Maybe I will give Josh Riff a call and see what they have.

Anything new from those guys? Great question! I sure hope things are booming for them. I would think a couple of guys with sandwich boards could drum up a lot of business walking the parking lots of the busiest endo's in the area and asking the question whats your A1c and pointing them to their website with the discussion about why an A1c of 7 is a 154 bg level and why that is really bad. www.vdexdiabetes.com/

Did they get some guys with sandwich boards? I would put something them like "A1c 6.5 BAD, A1c 7.0 Really BAD!!! Its time to Right Time your Diabetes with VDex's Real Time Meal Time Protocol" on the boards.
