Last year we coordinated a list of questions for Al at the annual meeting. A group of us met for breakfast before the annual meeting. It was a lot of fun and very worthwhile. It's probably a good idea to put together some intelligent questions from the this Board. I'll be at the Annual Meeting and would am available for breakfast that morning.

Hey, Trend, I am most definitely planning to attend. Does GWB post here, perhaps under a different handle? And how about Karma1? Will he be there? I'm sure MannMade will be there, along with his buddy. Lynn (a relatively new and infrequent poster) and a couple of her friends may well attend.
How about Wdnering (sp?)? And how about doc Chad, Mr. Rocky Mountain High?
Spiro is in Alaska, right! He did say something about a group of indigenous folks to whom he wanted to sell ice.
And ashiwi and rak, heck they could sell 0.1% of their MNKD holdings, rent a jet, and stay at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, and still have enough left over to pay Uncle Sam!

Nice to hear from you again Babo. I'll throw out a post on the Yahoo Board and see if we can generate some good questions for Al to answer. Do you remember who organized breakfast last year and where we met?

My major focus this year is any partnership status. As before, I can't expect much more than subtle body language indications or informal chatter for any real partnership information, but it has nevertheless previously provided some small indications ... like the word traction. While I really do not trust even the smallest of decisions from the FDA, I believe the ADCOM provided sufficient information regarding a path for approval. See you there. wdnering

Need to craft a question that sounds on the surface to be a simple yes/no but that actually gives an unintended answer in their body language.

Hi all. I noted that the shareholder meeting was on the 22nd but found no substantiation of it on their web page. Just called investor relations to ask why it isn't listed under Events and Quarterly Reports and was told by Roberta, Matt's assistant that she didn't know and would ask him. She did say that the meeting is in deed on the 22nd and appears on the proxies that are just now being delivered.

Yup, comin' on up, three weeks from yesterday. I'll do some reconnaissance out there and come up with a couple of suggestions. I think we were a little disappointed with our pre-meeting location last year, food-wise, anyway. We'll do better this time.
Looks like we'll have a confluence of folks that got together for the pre-meeting, with a few new faces. MannMade and his buddy are both very knowledgeable, class-act guys, to those of you who have not met them, you will enjoy them.
Good to hear from wdnering, I wasn't sure what had become of him! How about GWB and Karma? Anyone, anyone, Bueller, Bueller? Did Karma1 sell for $8+ last August and leave us? Also, thekindaguyiyam, as long as you have a decent relationship with Roberta (or Spiro can do it, she loves Spiro), might ask if they are looking to hold the meeting in a larger room? Too small last year and surely many more coming this year, so long as...... well, you know.
Oh, almost forgot, how about wonderkin, Chris? Chris are you coming? If not, is it because you're really 55 years old? LOL

Questions from Yahoo.Board
1. Assuming approval is imminent or within 2 months timeframe, why have no in house preparations for marketing or sales been instituted? 2. Have any potential partners been directly assisting with rems or label discussion with the FDA? 3. What is the status of the Danbury facility in regards to FDA inspection as well as manufacturing build out. If the FDA inspection is completed was it completed for the whole plant or only the existing line? 4. What information was requested by the FDA and submitted by MNKD which led to the delay of PDUFA?
5. Given the opportunity I would like to ask Al who he thinks would be a better partner for MNKD; Novartis or Sanofi. The question would have to be crafted as to not get the - we can't disclose partnership discussions. But since each would bring different advantages and disadvantages it could be crafted that way.

Ask them how the Drug Delivery and Formulation Summit went (on May 2nd in San Diego) and will they make the presentation by Andrea Leone-Bay available to investors? Because I really like to hear about their progress in treating acute pain (peptides for the treatment of pain) using Technosphere and if we can expect a clinical trial in the future. local.ddfsummit.com/programme/

Just confirmed I will be attending the meeting this year. I am flying in for the event, can anyone recommend a decent hotel to stay at in the area?

Great! The two I spoke of look clean and nice enough 4, Embassy Suites and Marriott Courtyard, and they are within a mile or two of the meeting, and likely either at or very near the breakfast meeting spot. From where are you flying? If you can get a flight into Burbank, instead of LAX, you'll be well ahead of the game.
