I do not want to get too excited. But the doctor Michael Friedman who is on mannkinds‘s board is 73 years of age. I would hope that perhaps there is Another Michael Friedman who might be a younger doctor becoming the CMO for MannKind. Not to be to Ethnocentric, in the Jewish community with the name Friedman there are lots of doctors. Sort of like Smith might be in other communities. I personally train, and I’m the personal assistant of the CEO of Starcrest of California, who is in his middle 70s. He’s in better shape than I am, and could run circles around me!
Also our president is 71:-))

Shares of Celgene (CELG) are lower on Wednesday following a downgrade from Bernstein. Analyst Aaron Gal and his team lowered their rating on the stock to Market Perform from Outperform and shaved $4 off their target price, to $121, citing a less robust outlook for the drugmaker's pipeline. Gal writes that investors have to weigh the potential of Celgene's late-stage pipeline against the patent risk for its blockbuster cancer drug Revlimid and other patent expirations.

perhaps CELG needs to buy into a new company (MannKind), only Buy into as we are not for sale right now. But they could have a 15% or 20% stake at $20.00 per share and provide us the marketing muscle like Sanofi does for Regeneron. $20.00 buy in would be a great way to utilize the newly minted treasury shares. That would be a red hot way to burn the shorts. |
