perhaps CELG needs to buy into a new company (MannKind), only Buy into as we are not for sale right now. But they could have a 15% or 20% stake at $20.00 per share and provide us the marketing muscle like Sanofi does for Regeneron. $20.00 buy in would be a great way to utilize the newly minted treasury shares. That would be a red hot way to burn the shorts. Where do you get these numbers from? I'm all for someone buying in, but at this point it's more likely $2.50 - $3/share.

Was under the impression that if a drug company put an expired drug on the platform: they could file for patten protection again .

A buy-in can be negotiated at any number and might include a variety of options, i.e. board seat(s), exclusivity in specific countries, shared marketing costs, etc. Mannkind wouldn't offer these for the current street price. $20 might be high but that would certainly enhance the dynamics to launch such a new partnership. I like it but am not predicting it.

They would not sell a % for that amount. That is why they tested the water with the $6.00 offering. They now have the shares to make a deal for a % of the company if the deal was good for the company. I believe that would have been Al Mann’s wishes.

I don't think $20 is out of the question. That would value the company between $2-3B, which I believe falls into the fair value range.

aside from the sales expansion the most interesting one to me is the Marketing Manager role that is now removed from the MNKD website. Likely filled the role. Very curious where this person comes from.

MNKD sure is in a growth posture with additional reps being hired, tv ads, additional marketing role. The short position wants everyone to think this is a sinking ship, but all MNKD activities suggest otherwise. Add some insurance coverage and a partner and look out.

Afrezza stops the rise, and you do not have to predose. We have to hit them with the phase one insulin reaction? "Afrezza, stop the yo-yo."
