Also many of the BP's just raised their prices of insulin to offset expiring drug patents which they can apparently do. So probably should wait to see where we are in 9 mos on this one.

Wow!
This thread has covered a lot of ground on a variety of topics. It's getting quite cumbersome to keep track of. I'd like to make a recommendation that we start some new threads identifying each topic in the header. It makes the board a lot easier to read. Thanks!

If MNKD does not partner before this FDA approval decision they will be dead in the water. They NEED a marketing partner. They are therefore not in an advantaged position as I have kept saying and thus a "fair" deal is less likely to be struck. I therefore see MNKD marketing alone and being bought out in the future as have Al Mann's other companies previously such as MiniMed. Picture this, not even a multimillion-dollar ad campaign could save Exubera. Pfizer has been pitching the product (BusinessWeek.com, 7/24/07) on TV and the Web since July. The company reported that Exubera only brought in sales of $12 million in the first nine months of this year. How could the company be dead in the water and then later be bought out? If they're dead, they're dead. I don't think MNKD can go it alone and survive long enough to be bought out. And, the shareholders would also be dumped on by the need for continuing dilution. Maybe even reverse splits. Forget it.

MNKD's in essence freeze MNKD and additional dilution, a LOC must be extended or loan must be struck. Simple. Use your head.

Well, I'll take this as a sign this thread needs to be locked. Let's please not make things personal, guys. At this point we'll call it a draw and move on...OK?
