They'll just naked short if there aren't enough shares around. That's been the short MO for quite awhile as I'm sure you know, but it's all going to end eventually. Can't wait...

Still incredible that over 3M shares traded today and we only bump up .07 on this news. It's frustrating to witness & just goes to show how much the shorts are still calling the shots here. However, their day of reckoning is coming and I for one look forward to a let's say, a late summer timeframe, short-rib BBQ!!

Creepy site to me at least. Bunch of meth heads there. I would not trust anything on that site. False alarm IMO. Cheers.

I suspect we will have a decent upcoming trading week and beyond thanks to this Michael C. interview. Slowly the rudder on HMS Afrezza is turning our way and the winds are behind the sail now. BP must be frustrated and the shorts will become increasingly restless. That HFT activity which bothers me so much, is on borrowed time now. Bravo to our new CEO! Aloha.

I knew this was coming. AF is despicable and he should not by any means be considered a journalist. He does not even have a degree in that field. Like I've stated previously, I will never read anything he posts in ST.

Scander: Why don't you simply do your own DD and look up the 2017 Amgen Annual Meeting? It took me 2 seconds to do that. I'm sure you can read all about the Amgen annual meeting if you really want to. Cheers.

So STAT hired this uninspiring, jaded, guy? Are you kidding me? I looked up what STAT "does" and they have now lost all credibility with me because of this hire. I will never read anything I run across where STAT is the source. Here's what STAT supposedly does:
What’s STAT all about?
STAT is a national publication focused on finding and telling compelling stories about health, medicine, and scientific discovery. We produce daily news, investigative articles, and narrative projects in addition to multimedia features. We tell our stories from the places that matter to our readers — research labs, hospitals, executive suites, and political campaigns.

100% spot-on Rock. Sanofi had it in for us on Day 1 and window dressed an empty cupboard with no Afrezza sales to speak of, under a smoke & mirrors cover. Then, the coast became clear for Sanofi to try and BK MNKD once Viehbacher was ousted & Al passed on. I will never, ever, forget that harsh lesson forced upon me. I never saw the deceit coming and trusted our partner as Al did, remaining a vocal supporter of Sanofi & ignoring the warning signs. I was so wrong! Well guess what? Sanofi is already regretting cutting MNKD loose. Their dastardly attempt to buy Afrezza on the cheap after trying very hard to BK MNKD has failed miserably, the worm is beginning to turn, and now it's Sanofi that must live the consequences of their horrific actions! And, don't think for a NY second that Michael C isn't aware of the true story here. Looking forward to his visionary leadership to take Afrezza to the next level. We lost a few battles that were very tough to endure, but we are going to win this! The winds of war shifted in our favor today. Onwards!

I just returned hone from my 6 month checkup with my endo for my diabetes. (T2). I quizzed her on Afrezza and discovered that she wasn't really prescribing it much (yet!), mainly due to proper dosage issues. I did my best to enlighten her on this. Regardless of that encounter, coming home to this news is incredible & awesome!
First off, IMO a deep debt of gratitude should be extended to Matt. Indeed as mentioned earlier in this thread, Matt pulled MNKD back from the abyss of total destruction. BP was/still is hellbent on preventing Afrezza from gaining a foothold in the market. Matt save our rear end to put it politely, and I will always, always, be in awe of what he accomplished in taking over MNKD under such such dire circumstances; Sanofi dumping us, (total set-up there), & the death of Al Mann. Bravo to Matt and a big Mahalo to him!!!
So, going back to my endo, the best I got out of her this morning in a positive vein was she does see a place regarding Afrezza for some patients, so that's a start, but as all us true Longs know we need more, much more. I'm way okay with her comments today. 6 months ago when I last saw her, she did not even know what Afrezza was! A toehold leads to a foot print, to a path, to a ledge, to a platform, to the mountaintop!
Regarding Michael C as our new CEO...yes absolutely!! My whole career, (retired now), was dedicated to sales and motivating my team. Michael is the right choice, at that right time, to lead this company! Timing is everything in life my fellow investors and we've got a bang-up, battle tested marketing warrior now to lead this company to the mountaintop. Congrats to Michael C as our new CEO & bravo to management for having the foresight & vision make this move!
We are on the path to victory now in this battle, this war, to change the standard treatment of care for diabetics worldwide! What a glorious day! I can see clearly now, the rain is gone! Aloha to all of you!!!

Would not be surprised to see some shenanigans pulled off before the closing bell to drive the SP back down. I've seen this movie before, but in the end those who shall not be named, can't stop the inevitable rise of MNKD & Afrezza.

This is indeed good news! Glad to see MNKD there promoting Afrezza! Location does not matter. I did plenty of travel trade shows in my day. I had a travel company in Costa Rica from 1991 onwards. I was the first ever at ITME, (granddaddy corpporate travel show of all in Chicago), with a booth, and for successive years afterwards. I dropped $5K for my booth & that was just for the rental. I had to decorate & had travel costs from CR. I could have been next to the janitor's closet for all that mattered. My future clients found me at the show cuz I had an up & coming, hot destination for corporate travel groups...Costa Rica! My investment paid off big time for my company, Costa Rica Incentives. I made bank from picking up new corporate clients/business from ITME.
This, IMO is the same kind of deal!
So bring it Michael C! Get to the ADA & shine!
Go MNKD!!
