The one question I have asked but nobody including myself has been able to answer is why did Mike C join Mannkind. He is a bright guy, clearly capable and knows the pharma industry well. He was far up the food chain at Amgen and likely living a comfortable life. No way he went to Mannkind without doing a lot of due diligence. He knows how hard it is to launch a new drug yet along relaunch a product that initially did not do well. He had to receive some type of assurances when he was being courted and part of those had to be some type of commitment that the company would have enough resources to give him at least a year and likely more to make Afrezza a success. Unless he was leaving Amgen and had nothing to lose by joining Mannkind (my gut tells me this was not the case) Mannkind had to demonstrate resources to give Mike a viable chance to make Afrezza a success.

Slides look to be the same as last time with the exception of updated stats on sales and the expectation that a submission for a label change is due this month. I'd like to know if the FDA has had any change in disposition toward MNKD in the past two years. If not, I have serious doubts they're going to make a label change very easy. Any idea how long the FDA usually takes to make a decision for a label change? November would be nice, yes?

Does your doc have a specific patient criteria that he rx's afrezza to? ( like non compliant , high a1c ? )  or he would need patient pull?

Weren't the reps selling both Afrezza and Toujeo at the same time and only pushing Toujeo? So were they using our money to help sell there drug? I'm not pushing for a lawsuit. I just think they need to pony up out of court.

After all we've been through with SNY I still can't get past the fact that they know more about Afrezza than we do.

I think they want it and they want it bad.  I think MNKD's price was too high for them and they said "prove it".  We are proving it and they are pissing themselves over it.  I think there is still a chance that we'll see an offer for purchase of Afrezza from them, but by October they may have to bid against other co's, or we might just tell them to piss off, (if you want something done right....).

Look at how well their stock price is doing and consider what they know about Afrezza before calling me crazy.  My crystal ball is hazy right now, but I am unwilling to ignore all that redacted language just yet - maybe something in there for a second chance.

I like chess. When I play with someone new I often sacrifice a knight or rook as a distraction, then I win. The queen (or queens) are waiting nearby to make the kill.  Poor little Afrezza is struggling to survive.  MEANWHILE, (Casey Kasum/Scooby Doo voice), back at the RSL lab - Andrea and company are working diligently on cannibus - as are Urbanski and co on Epi - ah hell, what does he know, he only used to be CMO for Mylan?

Epic is not attained with the status quo. I believe this will continue to be a weird, wild ride. In the mean time, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.



Scripts are low on Afrezza - pay attention to that right now, Wallstreet. Epi and Cannibus are nothing. Move along. Nothing to see here.

What is Andrea doing for RLS?

What is Hakan doing? (and don't tell me they paid him all that money just to be quiet) - he is busy doing something.  If I recall, he is good at setting up production lines.

What does 416 mean (RLS Twitter graphic the day before they closed the site to the public)?

Is Paul Allen involved?  (Experience music project and the common staff with RLS.)

Who is RLS and why are they so secretive?

WTF is VDex and what happened to them?

What will Google be producing in that new building that Paul Allen's development company is building in downtown Seattle? (nice design by the way - that's my line of work).

What happened to the deal between Dexcom, SNY and Goog and that contact lens?  SNY's inhalable insulin?  Who's inhalable insulin? Yeah, ours.

WA's quest to beat CO as the international hub for cannibus research and production.

Al Mann got swindled on his first deal with the Feds. He learned. Never again. I don't think SNY was a mistake, it had protections for us too. Deal making is dirty business and Al was no fool.

P.S. I cannot be held responsible for any of the above statements as I've had two beers tonight and am also pretty tired of all this BS but would rather lose it all before I sold a single share of MNKD to the shorts.  Kiss it FUDsters! I will go down with the ship!
