My comments "coming soon" meant before 1Q 2017 to be clear. I have no idea what's going on with the stock price today or any other day for that matter.

I bought some options yesterday. Actually more like lottery tickets. I have no liquidity right now to buy shares. I am tied up in other investments but it was tempting yesterday to buy some shares. hey reverselo. I hope you and we all do well here. I have finally figured out why you keep lingering around this downtrender. You have been here long enough to know how fine Afrezza really is. good luck to us, I hope this is opportunity.
You know I can go on at nauseam that the blood glucose control available to a type one with afrezza looks to be out of this world good as witnessed by continuous glucose monitors. I wish "disingenuous" the seeking alpha elf would post some CGM in his little blurr..
Reality bites. Physicians really can see monitors. Some physicians beyond belief smart. Some diabetics beyond belief smart. Let's see.
I believe some type of partner/collaboration agreement btw mnkd and dexcom coming soon. Will that help the pps?

Or you don't think it will last and you want to buy the dip. I bought a pile of STJ last week when it crashed because the catalyst was suspect, Mike may be thinking the same with the MNKD dip. I am a MNKD shareholder who for two years bought the dip and that brought me to an 80% loss. I always thought the dip wouldn't last and here we are at .75 cents. For me it all comes down to the Al Mann Foundation. They lost a lot of money in the past two weeks. Tempers are flying and MNKD is def hearing it from them. There is a lot going on behind the scene that we do not hear about. "For me it all comes down to the Al Mann Foundation." Agree on this reverselo.

Actually if he continues to buy on the way down, isn't this a smart buy/sell strategy instead of buying all at once? I think so. I agree it is the right way to purchase a position but the time frame is so short its starting to look a little desperate. What's desperate about it? I'm doing it. I'm not desperate? Buying in 15 cent increments on the way down. If it goes to .60 I'll buy more. I call it smart investing but what do I know? 🤔

Nice to see but in absolute dollar terms it's not a ton of money. Actually if he continues to buy on the way down, isn't this a smart buy/sell strategy instead of buying all at once? I think so.

This is a Sunday and MC is responding with answers to questions from the little people. When have any of MNKD stock holders been treated so well ? Any long on this board knows getting any news has been almost impossible. I would say this is "transparency". I would also say we have a man that is championing our mutual cause. I do not know all of his motives, but I am glad he is working for us. Many of us invested, more than we should have in this company, because we believed in Al Mann and Afrezza. I was taught that you do not invest in a person but the company's balance sheet. Now we seem again to have a person who has invested himself, as was Al Mann his whole life. Currently within MNKD, who has had the ability to give both hope to diabetics and the stock holders that need this company to be a success? We may not get the rewards we want but we have a person that has become the face of MNKD, Michael Castagna. Matt may not have been the dynamic leader we were looking for after Al left us, but Matt as the CFO and his knowledge has quietly done a great job in changing the direction of this company. I believe he is responsible for keeping the company, albeit battered, one with still a fighting chance for great success. Go MNKD Read more: mnkd.proboards.com/conversation/2850#ixzz4IeCWEmkNMike will become ceo...

Good afternoon, I too am a MannKind addict... I also own way too much for a rational and smart investor with some experience. However, unlike some "others" on this board I am allowing my emotions and feelings to be a part of my decision making. I made this investment for the returns of course... but it is much more than that to me. I have a brother who has been a T1 since he was 8. Diabetes ruined his life as some of you know from my previous postings. As kids my parents would not let him out of their sight, let alone go camping in the Grand Canyon as his two other brothers did at the ages of 12 and 15. In college we used to get constant calls from his roommate that he was found unconscious in a pool of vomit in his room and was now at the hospital. Cut to today and at the age of 58 he has been having his eyes cauterized, is on dialysis and is waiting for a kidney/pancreas transplant. Not to mention the psychological affects it has had on him over the years. And then there is knowing Al Mann to a limited degree... He devoted much of his life and personal fortune to helping people. I have always personally desired to give back and I do so in many simple ways daily (giving an extra tip, picking up litter, being kind to a stranger) and on a more eventful level such as adopting dogs and even my son... (Hope he forgives my using him like this). However, I have always wanted to do something or be a part of something bigger and more global and I think I found it with MannKind. It resonates with me in all the right ways, including with the struggle we face. As odd as it may sound to some I honestly believe that most things worthwhile do not come easy and require a certain amount of time or period of struggle in which we are forced to deal with uncertainly, emotional distress, and often digging deep into our personal psyche and also our pocketbooks or other resources to stay alive when most would otherwise give up. "It is always darkest before the dawn," could have been originally said at the last S/H meeting... But with MannKind we each have the chance to be a part of something that is much bigger than each of us individually. This is something that could literally change not just the way diabetes is treated but the healthcare system itself. It could save millions from suffering and it could save billions in healthcare costs over the first decade of its use. With my stock I place my vote and put my money where my mouth is in support of Al Mann and all that he stood for. Look at most great accomplishments... One main reason the are considered great in hindsight is the epic battle it took to see it to the end when most would have quit long ago... This was Al Mann... And so I/we carry on for him in our small way. Al Mann's family (mnkd trust) has the same vision as Al and won't let Mannkind die anytime soon. People forget the strong resources still available to "stay alive" with Al's family and they will decide when enough is enough. I think Al's trust has communicated this to management and they understand their strong commitment to see this succeed. Mannkind will not be sold anytime soon. MIke C. Has the right plan in place and we'll see scripts turn very soon. Get ready!...news of ultra label change and other product collaboration coming soon! Scripts will rise much higher than Sanofi ever did! GET READY!!

They are buying the stock in hopes others will buy in to. Increase the pps, improve the sentiment but only retail is buying into this idea. You think I'm crazy but your comment really shows how disconnected you are from what is really going on. I mostly agree with you on this one reverselo. Officers buying shares is a good thing but we need more officers to follow Mike's lead. Also for WS to take notice we need a zero added to his buy orders...100-250k shares will get attention on WS in my opinion.

Thanks to Mike C it seems Mankind maybe has started to make the turn upward and onward. Transparency is much improved and paying attention to detail is crucial. Mike has stepped up and so has Matt to some degree. Now it's time for BOD and other officers to step up also. They have been sitting on their hands taking a paycheck watching their company go down the tubes. It's time for the whole co to make a statement and buy some shares out of their pocket. Just one man's opinion. Thanks Agree! Mike needs to buy more and other officers should step in. Then we got us a true FIGHT!

We need the other officers to step up and buy more now. If they do we'll have a real fight on our hands!

I didn't know this...
Under the terms negotiated with Sanofi, another Payment from them is anticipated late this year, and payments will continue to be made periodically for at least the next couple of years.

Well said, Slugworth! And nice to see another person with OR connections on this board. I have a brother in PDX and I went to High School in West Linn, where they obviously didn't teach me much about risk taking. I share your sentiments and sense of hope! It's gotten so that I hate to have conversations with my Scottrade and Fidelity reps because they know how far underwater I am with this position and I imagine them thinking that they are speaking with an idiot, especially given my penchant for acquiring more shares at this level. Time will tell if they are right, but in the meantime, I'm in it for the long haul (think years!). I believe Pfeffer and Castagna are giving us as good a shot as any investor could expect. I stand beside you in saluting loyal longs on this board. Chris C A close friends son plays basketball for West Linn. Powerhouse basketball program. I'm also from the Northwest. I was originally with td ameritrade and switched to fidelity for the lending program. I have a boat load of shares and continue to buy to reduce my cost average. I believe we're going in the right direction with matt and mike. Make or break time for mnkd. Good luck to all my fellow longs!

Can folks chime in as to the conundrum issuing any more shares to raise more money Mannkind has to potentially deal with? Which may not be next month, but by the end of the year would seem prudent. I would think at this price, any more shares issued would keep the stock price well below the 1.00 nasdaq threshold and could threaten delisting? Just what i'm currently worrying about now, not being negative I think more dilution is coming as well kball. Most likely before end of year unless we get partner/deal which is unlikely at this point. RLS milestone and/or sanofi settlement could happen and help extend runway. Management is probably wanting the pps between $2-3 before ATM. Not sure they'll get it? Maybe price jumps after label improvement is filed (sept/nov) and scripts begin to rise around then.
