I am fine with both. But, like I say ... when you see a down turn on the Coronavirus problem ... don't be the last man standing. Doesn't matter what anyone says or thinks ... this is investment ... or legalized gambling. Day traders live forever ... or die young trying. I'm already double and will see where this puppy goes on Monday.
BTW mango ... what is a rain fly? Something to protect my wine bar? Ha! So, you couldn't go to the casino because you spent all your $$. Ha! Too bad, maybe you could have bought a few more shares on Monday ... with progressive betting.
But , that's mytakeonit

The WHO is estimating 18 mos before a vaccine. I did hear from two different sources yesterday - though I’ve yet to read about it anywhere - that China has medication now available to some degree to help those who have contracted the virus. GILD has a vaccine that is currently being used by approximately 1000 patients in China. GILD is trading at just below $70.00/ share. Lost a couple dollars on Friday. NVAX is up to around $16/share from below $10/ share on Thursday. Its impossible to determine which company will have the quickest and greatest success at this point, but the upside can be strong! As always, do your own DD! Good luck all!!

GILD has deep inroads with NIH...that's where my bet is ...can't even begin to compare the two companies infrastructure and networks not to mention balance sheets. Their acquisition of KITE took a a while for the market to digest but IMO they're the least risky play as they will not take as much of a setback due to their diversification GL ...hope they all make progress in short order

IT would be nice to know which drug companies were invited to the White House for Monday’s meeting. Although they said the meeting was set up a while ago to talk about drug pricing in general, everyone is expecting the focus to turn to virus treatments.
I know we have gone off topic. Too bad we don’t expect MNKD to get any cash infusion from the government.

INO shares went down a little on Friday ... so it is a lot cheaper than NVAX. There are a lot of pharmaceuticals making/ working on a vaccine for the coronavirus. I feel the more the merrier. We will have to inoculate the whole world so I guess we will see those military vaccine guns on every corner. Hope you do well at the casino !!! But, that's mytakeonit [ The two companies are pretty close in value. INO is about, what, 15% cheaper than NVAX. The share price is misleading. Market cap is what matters. But that’s only my takeonit.

Gary.....I know, you had me at Bill Gates...that’s why I lost so much money in the stock in the first place ..thankfully I played the reverse split, doubled my money, put it in SENS, doubled it again and that’s where it’s staying. By dangerous I just mean the stock could plummet right here. I am bullish on NanoFlu. GL I am rooting for you, we all deserve a big win!!

baba ... you have to get up to speed before you post. INO is at $4.28 and NVAX closed at $16 on Friday. And for me, market cap only matters if I plan on buying the company. On a day trader perspective, share price is what matters because that is what you will end up with in your pocket ... or not. So my next "cash infusion" hopefully will be on Monday.
But, that's mytakeonit

There are obviously no rational people on this board.

Here's rational: Novavax' Nanoflu Phase 3 trial data may show less effectiveness than demonstrated in the Phase 2 data. Why? Simply because the four major flu vaccines are showing more effectiveness (40%-60%) this year than was demonstrated last year (15%-20%). Novavax could be releasing it Phase 3 data any day/week. What if their numbers don't demonstrated clinically significant improvement simply because the major brands of flu vaccine worked better this year? The share price could tank within hours, much like when the company reported that the ResVax trial data didn't meet its primary end points. I plan to lock in my initial investment with NVAX. The remainder (all profit) could be consider play money but I'll be keeping tight stops regardless. CEO Stan Erck has demonstrated a pattern of embellish in the past and I bought into it. It was a hard lesson.

mn ... that sounds irrational. If you don't believe in it, you should sell it all.

Im so confused about what is rational, or irrational. Im going to stick with what it is and keep what I believe out of it. I made my infusion for last week. Lets see what this week brings.
