boca said "Hope you’re up early because NVAX is down big this morning. Maybe you had a stop loss in." Shucks ... I hit the Wong button ... hit the stop gain button by mistake. The problem was that they paused trading on NVAX due to volatility. Heck, men don't pause. But, that's mytakeonit I'm not familiar enough to understand this and investopedia doesn't explain it well either. Why would trading be stopped due to volatility? Explain it to me like I'm 5 🙂 “A halt on a Volatility Pause is one of the most common types of circuit breaker halts in the market. If a stock moves up or down too quickly within a 5min period it can cause an automatic circuit breaker halt that will pause trading for 5min.” |

I'm not familiar enough to understand this and investopedia doesn't explain it well either. Why would trading be stopped due to volatility? baba ... you have to get up to speed before you post. INO is at $4.28 and NVAX closed at $16 on Friday. And for me, market cap only matters if I plan on buying the company. On a day trader perspective, share price is what matters because that is what you will end up with in your pocket ... or not. So my next "cash infusion" hopefully will be on Monday. But, that's mytakeonit Are you guys freaking serious? You to Mango... ? No.... Market cap is what counts, you can’t go by the price of the the stock ever....not to mention there’s been too many reverse splits. If you only have $10,000 then buy less shares of the stock that’s trading at a higher price. Who buys the cheapest stock because it says it’s worth $.77 or something. In other words that $.77 stock might not be cheap at all, so it wouldn’t do you any good to day trade it . People have said about Amazon, oh I can’t afford that stock ..well then buy one share. I'm still holding $INO but have double my money so far. Plan to hold for a little while, too many catalysts coming up this year to miss out on. Definitely a nice feeling to actually be in a stock that makes you money compared with what I've experienced with MannKind so far! 🤪 |
