why would they not have instead bought shares from us and at the market price instead of warrants? The warrants may mean they have their foot in the door if someone else steps up. And how many shares they own is not known till they hit 5% if my experience holds true. Keeps it interesting for any other potential suitor. In my opinion. Lets Go!

Is Hooper the closer or does that depend on what the definition of is is? Does UTHR already know? The one thing I know for sure is I know nothing at all. Lets Go!

There have been a steady amount of trades after hours for some time now, fairly many shares from open to close, at variant prices (maybe 30k plus per day for a couple of months I think?). Not a lot but the after hours trading has been like every day. And there did appear to me there was accumulation in recent months with a bit of an increased volume throughout the days. Perhaps we will see a 5% form filed soon from other than an investment company. Fingers crossed though I think I’m having an epiphany on this bar stool.

The fact that United Therapeutics bought MannKind warrants in Q3 2019 makes it a very real possibility that they have already bought MannKind shares as well. Of course, we would not be notified of that until it is equal to or greater than 5%. Interesting how the whole re-branding of the company, and refocusing/restructuring of pipeline and such, is taking place completely out of the blue now too...

Would UTHR be interested in the migraine drug we have?

They very well may be interested in using Technosphere for several of their pipeline molecules. One that immediately comes to mind is SamuMed's Wnt pathway inhibitor, small molecule, specifically developed to be inhaled, for IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis).
Another, is the Arena NCE that UT bought with the option to develop an inhaled version.
Another is their new pipeline focus of NCEs, biologics and other things like rare diseases and cancers.
Oh, and another is the PDE5 (the speculated second molecule).
Who knows what United Therapeutics is thinking.
Exciting times

Is anyone able to explain what the United Therapeutics warrant purchase in Q3 2019 means? Yea what is that? This is the first i've heard of anything related to UTHR and Warrants Is that a purchase of UTHR, or a sale of MNKD warrants? It reads like an expense (see the Payment in kind in 3Q, and the Deerfield Milestone as an example in 4Q). That would make it a purchase of UTHR warrants, but then I was unaware they had any.

You've definitely made this confusing now...so which is it? And what would it mean if MannKind bought UT warrants? Interesting either way thanks for pointing it out.

Found this in the 10Q "We have been informed by Receptor that it has evaluated safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of prototype powders in initial clinical trials; however, data from these clinical trials has not yet been published or made available to us." Interesting! Wonder if this is the data ALB is presenting?!?

Walter Payton to me on ST: "I may be off base, but mnkd did repurchase over 3 million warrants in July 2019 for .4 million. Could that be the .4? I’m not sure if the uthr is a typo or not as I couldn’t find anything from n the financials relating to uthr warrants" I looked too and couldn't find anything either... F me if that is a typo I'll die laughing!!!

I thought the same also. “A typo”. But throw in some tetrahydrocannabinol, and Wallah!

I thought the same also. “A typo”. would not it need to say stock REpurchase then, instead of warrant purchase? would make for an epic typo...let's hope it is not a typo though!

From Avrage on ST: "interesting find mango , it was intact mannkind that repurchased the warrants on July 18th, 2019. I think it means that United was the buyer of diluted shares a year back that came with the warrants. A lot of people suspected this but this seems to confirm that thinking. "
