Any chance this helps MNKD? “Today I want to share with you exciting progress that the FDA is making with the private sector as we slash red tape like nobody has ever done it before,” he said. “I’ve directed the FDA to eliminate outdated rules and bureaucracy so this work can proceed rapidly, quickly—and, I mean, fast. And we have to remove every barrier.”The FDA is committed to providing regulatory flexibility and guidance during this crisis, while fulfilling its duty to ensure product safety and effectiveness, FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn said during today’s briefing. As a result, obstacles are being cleared for American patients with incredible speed. That includes not only the race to develop a vaccine, but progress in making antiviral therapies widely available. Clinical trials for therapies to fight the Coronavirus are already underway, as well. “One thing I know about this country of ours is that we have unbelievable innovators. We have people who every day, it’s their job to develop treatments for all sorts of diseases,” Dr. Hahn said. The President also announced that one existing treatment will soon be available for many patients to try. Chloroquine and its derivative, Hydroxychloroquine, are drugs commonly used to treat malaria. New research shows they may hold unique promise as potentially effective treatments for Coronavirus, too. While people of all backgrounds unite against this invisible enemy, President Trump wants every American to know that we face this historic challenge together. www.whitehouse.gov/articles/president-trump-nothing-will-stand-in-our-way/(Posting that link was difficult for me.)

Think this through with me. ARDS is a rare, often life-threatening lung disorder with no FDA approved treatments. It is also a rare, life-threatening condition that can be associated with COVID-19. MannKind, wanting to make life humann for people suffering terrible medical conditions. If they can develop a potentially effective, or even halfway effective treatment for this---BOOM. It would already be something that FDA would fast track and grant orphan drug status to under normal circumstances. These are high times, and the President just made it possible to move through the process ultra fast.Does this help MannKind? "MannKind is committed to joining the global effort to overcome the COVID-19 crisis. MannKind’s formulation and drug development expertise as well as its excess manufacturing capacity will be deployed as necessary to help protect humankind from this global health crisis. "

Exactly my point on previous messages. This could be our business card to the world of vaccines IF it works. We were opened a door. If we manage to find the key is up to management, as I think the device and carrier have potential.

Here we have one man (with a lot of power), claiming he is really, really smart trying to avoid through medical testing.. Oh and a ton of experts keeping it real, for example
"Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said the two drugs would be made available but there needs to be way to see how safe they are and whether they work to inhibit coronavirus. "What the President was saying is that we're going to look at all of these drugs and we're going to try to get them available in the context of some sort of protocol," he said, referring to a trial period, on CNN's "Coronavirus: Fact and Fears" town hall special. The doctor wanted to make sure Americans know there are no proven safe and effective therapies as of today. "That doesn't mean that we're not going to do everything we can to make things that have even a hint of efficacy more readily available," Fauci told CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta. "But there's no magic drug out there right now.""

Unfortunately trying unproven medications may be analogous to testing parachutes. Having a set (of balls I presume you meant?) won’t mean much if an infected patient doesn’t get a 2nd chance.

Where is all of the testing? I am alarmed when I hear of so many sick people going to the urgent care clinics and testing negative for everything, but getting no test for covid-19.
Don't we need to start widespread testing? Don't we need to test everyone for the pathogenic molecules we know cause covid-19??? and testing everyone for antibodies so we know who has been exposed to covid already?
I have talked to a lot of people who believe they had covid already. They were sick late last year or up into 2020 without ever finding out what was exactly wrong with them because they tested neg for flu, strep throat, etc, etc.
All of this makes me think we are going to have an explosion. They better get those ventilators ready.

I think testing for the antibodies would be very enlightening. As for testing for the virus -in symptomatic people - absolutely yes. Asymptomatic - pretty useless as they can be negative today and positive tomorrow. People might take more chances if they think they are negative.

It's unfortunately all a preplanned strategy by the sick globalists in the world like Soros to introduce the virus, make a killing as shorts, destroy economies around the world, bring debt levels to an even more unsustainable level, cause panic and disorder, take away guns and freedoms, and further the agenda of the new world order (1 economy, 1 government, 1 religion). This isn't going away soon. A new ugly day is here unfortunately.

I asked them everything I posted here. I don't want to get into politics, but my state is run by a bunch of liberal democrats. The state told me that they don't want to know the answer to any of the questions I asked. They said people would be alarmed when they start hearing how many people have already been infected, infections, and recovered from covid-19. They said they don't want to know what the denominator is because it doesn't change anything since there is no treatment for people with covid...... and they don't think the public could handle to hear how many people have already been exposed and have spread it to others.

I think you’re right, I believe it started in December ...at least I know a girl ( daughter of a friend) who had been on a trip to Italy who lives in Florida ..feels she and a bunch of others had it in December.
