So, if you click on your own screen name, then the gear, the only option should be "Give Member Gift" Same if you click on the user name for a top admin (not allowed to block the admin) BUT, if you click on any other peon member like me, you should have an additional choice to "Block Member" I'm trying to block a "peon member" who spends a lot of time bashing Vdex. I hope he's not a "top admin." I'm only given the option of sending him a "gift." If I click on your member name and then on your gear icon I'm given the option of blocking you, but I have no reason or desire to do that.

The problem with the blocking is when you block somebody which actually I’ve never been able to figure out how to do ..but when you do do it it doesn’t block them from seeing what you say, the only reason I would want to block somebody is I would like to choose whether I give someone information or not. That’s how it is on Stocktwits, if you block somebody you can’t see them and they can’t see you. I believe if you block somebody on here they can still read your posts! Wrong just wrong:-) Looks like these are the options here when you go to "Block Member": The first one is not selected by default, the last 3 are selected by default.

Maybe I'm wrong but do I recall correctly VDEX ask exclusive rights for some areas and when Mannkind didn't agree/react/answer VDEX start to attack the CEO with arguments had nothing to do with Afrezza... like Mike driving a Ferrari? ... exclusivity was explained was the wrong word. Long ago when Mannkind abandoned a bunch of states Vdex was thinking why not open up in those states. There’s been several proposals on the table but they have never been mentioned or talked about here. But at this point in time I know of no proposals whatsoever ..those were a very long time ago. The Ferrari... I don’t remember. But I have heard people on Stocktwits talk about it. The only thing I’ve seen Mike drive is a jeep:-) So I don’t think I can speak to that.

Here’s the thing. Everybody wants Afrezza to succeed. When you’ve put so much work into something it’s your baby..and when it’s flopping everybody gets mad at everybody. Everybody’s pointing fingers at the other. Egos get in the way. I told you guys when Bill and I went to Mannkind headquarters to talk to David Thompson that it was a very sad atmosphere, that when I got back to the car I was in tears because I was afraid for Afrezza...they explained that they had tried everything, but they weren’t gonna give up ...we were all just sad. Well I have to say that Bill wasn’t sad because he’s convinced that Afrezza is going to be a success!
But I came away from that meeting knowing they really cared. Just like they know Vdex cares.
We have a great relationship with our Mannkind reps that service our clinics. I just think bringing up old stuff is counterproductive.
But PG was right in the sense that some people on this board have been blind to the real problems with Afrezza and it took the scripts heading downhill for it to be obvious. I believe in Bill’s marketing videos he hit the nail on the head.

I presume, but for sure I am wrong, something has changed meanwhile...

I’m sorry I’m not following you. Perhaps you’re referring to something that was posted by neither Bill or I.
If I forgot stuff I apologize I just can’t figure out what you’re referring to.

I don’t believe Bill thought that things were being handled in the right way for the sake of Afrezza or for the sake of the shareholders. And he stood up for that fact. He should be on the Board of Directors in my opinion. He is not at all afraid to call it the way it is. Its unfortunate that all the shareholders got in a Civil War about the whole thing but can you really sit there and watch something circle the drain and not speak up. But see at that point most of the shareholders didn’t know how serious it was.
The dosing is wrong, it makes it inconvenient for the patient and the results mediocre. Yes we prescribe it off label. That’s the beauty of our blood sugar clinics we can get extremely excellent results because we use Afrezza the way we use it. People do not drop off it, people do not have bad experiences, and we do the work on the insurance for them. We get positive feedback and reinforcement from our patients. And there’s so much more to it than Afrezza...it’s Training the clinic managers and the providers on patient empathy ...this is what Jeremy excels at, among other things, but you have to have a caring atmosphere first because if the patient knows you care then they will listen.

Wow. Maybe you should be head of marketing? How is this working so far? Is your opinion that Mannkind and Afrezza sales would be better off without VDex? Please show your data.
Why should I do marketing? For VDex (I would at first stop any misleading claims, that´s very important.. a company is only trustworthy if it is truthful) What does my person have to do with anything? It seems a comon theme here to attack the person if you lack arguments.
>> Is your opinion that Mannkind and Afrezza sales would be better off without VDex? Please show your data. I just pointed out, that acording to Sportsrancho, the "VDex method" seems rather time consuming and might thus be ineffective!
The poster pguererro made a claim in a different thread (but also many other claims which seem wrong which I´d love to discuss.. but that thread is locked down by the great wisdom of our admins. ) "the top 10 volume endos in the country’s (all being paid to prescribe Afrezza through meaningless talks that know one attend) scripts out of the equation there would be 300 Trx a week"
I think this one is believable and well as the top 100 Endos being responsible for 100 000s of scripts over the last years.
I just would like to see any proof for VDex´s superiority compared to these successful and relevant Afrezza prescribers and allow myself to point out that just claiming success is a far cry from being successful!
You are throwing a lot of accusations out there with no good reason to do so or proof.. why?

“What we sell is ourselves, our care, our help in controlling a problem for our patients. No matter how good our protocol, if our patients don’t get the message, don’t follow the instruction, don’t believe in our expertise, and don’t get good results, we fail as a company. We are in the “people” business. Our people will determine how our services are received by our patients. That is why our people are the most important asset to the business. We spend a lot of time and attention trying to get the “people” part of Vdex right. Finding and keeping the right employees/contractors is everything for our future. It is what will set Vdex apart from anyone else in the field of diabetes care. Our simple goal is to be the best in the world at caring for people with diabetes. If we only come close to that goal, we will be a phenomenal success” ~Bill

If you mean the complete absence of proof endlessly reiterated, just look at sportsrancho´s posts over the last weeks, the last thing she wrote here was some rambling about Bill wanting to be the best.. just 3 hours after I wrote "claiming success is a far cry from being successful!"
I think you are mistaken and at least that "accusation" is spot on!

I think you are mistaken and at least that "accusation" is spot on! You are entitled to your opinion, even if it’s completely wrong. There are people who believe the earth is flat, there’s even an International Flat Earth Society. It’s impossible to convince those folks they are wrong. Sports, I recommend that you not waste any more time trying to convince morfu of the error of his thinking about VDEX. Though I commend the sincerity of your efforts in that regard!
