You are talking about the machines with the huge glass windows near the street. They hit a lot ... but, are the small hit machines with minimal pay offs. They are in the sun and very temperature hot to play at.
I play Megabucks occasionally when I see it hitting a lot of small payoffs with consistency. Those small payoffs keep me alive ... hopefully long enough to hit Megabucks. Just missed it on my last trip and hit a triple bar, 4X, and 5X which paid me around $4500. On the spin off ... the 3X came out and screaming Nyah, Nyah, Nyah. The payoff ladies said ... "Awww! You should have had that on the last spin!" Ahhh ... NO POOP!!! Megabucks was over $15M at the time.
Then I moved to the 10X machine and hit $10k on the first spin. The same payoff ladies came and said "Wow! You are on a streak today!" I tipped them $100.
On the spin off ... I hit $20K !!! I told the payoff ladies to put that in the cage because I have TOO MUCH CASH already. They took my ID and player's card info and returned in a flash with my voucher. I tipped them $200.
They told me to spin it off ... then their heads were in front of the screen blocking my view to see what came out. When they moved ... I missed it and got nothing.
This was a good trip and besides being fully comped with a 3 bedroom suite ... I returned home with over $35k gains just playing the slots. I won't tell you what I made playing BJ and you already know about the crap table.

Largest Jake Pot I hit was $42,567 at Hard Rock on slots 8 years ago and left LV $2600 in the red. MTOI must be a freaking genius when it comes to gambling and stocks. I not worthy to be in company with Mr. MTOI.
