Personally, I'm very happy MNKD changed their favicons because I have an email page with an icon that looks a lot like the old icon we had here, and I'd always have to squint to know which tab to select when I had the board open. Which is all the time. No more squinting

The whole market was bleeding out! We’ll pop back up IMO. Oops that was comment for at the end of page 3.

Actually, I was really impressed MNKD was only down a little until the end of the day, and even then I’m impressed. The shorts tend to hit hard on earnings report days, so the fact that the volume (did you see that? the word “volume”) was sufficient to keep the PPS buoyant was kind of cool. Also noteworthy was the single bashbot comment. Usually their’s a bunch of “Mike this” and “Mike that” comments.
I didn’t listen to the conf call, and probably won’t get around to it for a week (or like last quarter, skipped it entirely in Pat-like manner of sleeping until we were closer to material moves.
I am ebullient in general. New COVID cases dropping like a rock. Schools opening up. Jobs opening up. People with pent up need for travel and social interaction. I have to wonder if part of the “roaring 20s” in the last century was an aspect of recovering from the Spanish Flu (ironically named given it was first noticed at Camp Funston in Ft. Riley, Kansas). Mannkind will be able to hire, train, deploy new reps soon, and they will be able to sell more than just Afrezza. I know it’s a small stable of products, but hey, gotta start somewhere.

LOL, I had Lasik decades ago, and one eye re-done, but the last time (when I had to re-do the one eye), I had to pick between seeing near or far clearly; I couldn't have both. I chose seeing far, so I could drive without corrective lenses and thus get to wear my Maui Jims. Reading glasses have a focal point a bit closer than the distance to my screen usually is, so I'm in no-man's land w/r/t my screen. I've defaulted to no glasses, so ... I pay the price.

Agree totally, yesterday was a great day comparatively. Which made it that much weirder when some people posted to complain about the price action.

Come on down shorts / manipulators! 62 little pennies and I'll boat up 10,000 shares! (I have a nice round number, given my math skills I don't want to screw it up) Although, it does seem like they're trying to push a balloon under water! What's Nate's saying? They buy it at 5, like it at 10 and love it at 20. Lookin for a little love here!

The shorts usually have a field day with us after a conference call.....things appear to be getting a little stickier for them.

-PAH&ILD are both getting submitted to together- Approval Q4 2021. -MNKD is mass producing Tyvaso DPI prior to FDA Q3 2021. The PAH market for Tyvaso is 415 million, off ~5,000 patients.
There is no FDA Approved drug for people who have ILD.
ILD is an Umbrella term: -Idiopathic ILD (60+ y/o) -Breathing in harmful substances (Tobacco) (Coal dust) (Air pollution) (Longliner added bolded) -Health disorder (autoimmune diseases include rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, polymyositis/dermatomyositis, lupus and sarcoidosis.)
How BIG do you think that ILD market is..
"In the lungs, parenchymal and vascular remodeling share pathomechanisms that may explain the relatively high prevalence (30-40%) of pulmonary hypertension (PH) in interstitial lung disease (ILD) patients."
UTHR thinks the ILD population is ~250k.
UTHR also thinks they can get 15%-85% of that population.
15% of 250k? is 30,000 thousand people.
Extrapolate 415 million by 30k people IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.
UTHR to add COPD to Tyvaso DPI - 100k people
(I copied this from ezmoney on ST) it seems to explain "what's going on"

So after a 90-minute Zoom chat, I go to check in with the board and I can't find the tab in my browser... guess why, LOL?
Anyway, it's downright strange to see MNKD as my best-performing position at the end of a day...by 4X.
I could get used to this.
