[ Thanks for the words, but I never said I'm out.... I'm still holding my balls AND all my shares (for well over $100k loss) As for the value of MNKD, and a $4 bil offer from another BP,,,,,, that's making a big assumption that everyone sees MNKD being worth $4 bil. I would argue it's worth much more,,, however, at this moment Afrezza isn't selling itself, and without a successful Afrezza, tevhnosphere is unproven. The argument the shorts are making is that Afrezza will fail and Techno is worthless. Unfortunately, I have yet to see any ACTIONS from SNY or MNKD to change their minds. My comment on shares sold was to XOXO. Yes, MNKD is worth significantly more than $4B but certainly it is not going to fetch peak value at this point in time. [ Sorry, my bad, gues I thought you were sending me off with kisses and hugs. ? I agree with your opinion of MNKD's value.... But right here, right now, at this critical moment on MNKD's solvency, where is the proof? If everyone really believed MNKD was worth so much, guess what... It's sitting for sale as we speak for $850 mil. I still see only 2 ways right now for MNKD's public credibility. Script counts & undeniable support from SNY. Ok, and a third would be a new and impressive techno deal with another BP. But I can't see when any of those could happen. GLTA

Me too I hate the strong, continuous and increasing manipulation and bashing around the company (specially thinking this is an area where investing should be for the whole human beeing). I am starting blaming management too. But I am still confident with the product and the pipeline I strongly respect Your decision but Your post pushed me to write my decision too. Why I should get out now with 800 million market cap ? If I was out I should not tempted to get in ?
And why now, (after 2 years for me) ? Now that every think is starting ?
Hakan words, just yesterday about TS partnership: " So I would say -- I would hope that we could possibly announce something before the end of the year -- oh, sorry, within the next quarter, but that's as specific as I can be at this point in time."
At this point PPS is terrible..... the company attention to shareholders is terrible.... But on the real side Afrezza is improving little bit but improving..... I like 17 Million deferred sales first 3 quarters...
What about an imaginary company promising a TS platform alone without Afrezza, with no product still approved ? Obviously without Short hating .... I think We could easily surpass 800 million.... Just a company with a TS pipeline at this stage and without Afrezza
I believe these are ONLY dirty games. I can be wrong but I stay with Al

I sold as well. I'll still frequent this board as I completely believe in the company's drug and technology, and future -- However, the Globes is a reputable source in my opinion, and this news would be terrible. I want to hear from management, but I do fear that if they issue a statement, it's too late to salvage anything. If I'm wrong, and I hope I am, I will be back in. Cheers. Good Luck Corey, Wow, what a day, I was busy this morning so I missed the ride. I did have 2 orders that filled, so I actually averaged down, unbelievable !! I just saw the clown call you out at YMB, I wonder if I would be famous if I sold a share. Cheers

That's so unfair. I guess I just need thicker skin. I wouldn't worry about it. The clowns (on YMB) continue to grasp at anything they can to ensure confusion. Your thoughts and analysis here have all been very enlightening and I for one, have always found some food for thought in your posts. Thank you.

I can be wrong but I stay with Al I agree with what you say, we see companies all the time who get bought out for billions and only entered stage 2 trials. (For the record, I really like this conversation. I've been wanting to talk about our real vs. perceived valuation for awhile, but I guess I'm not a "start a thread" kind of guy) But, the perception of a value becomes reality when the drug is for sale, instead of just a dream in trials. Once it's for sale, and it doesn't sell, then it discredits the rest of the pipeline. That's where my concern is here, especially at such a critical moment like our financial independence.

I bailed in the final minutes of the trading day before AdCom because the pricing pressure was so dramatic and I feared losing my entire investment - I took a big hit. I was also quite embarrassed because I had been vocal on the YMB about my belief in the mnkd thesis and there I was bailing. I bought back in at a much higher price (and in time with a much bigger position) when I thought the coast was clear because I still believed in the product... but little did I know. I think the only reason I didn't bail today was because I was nearly paralyzed by panic when we got to nearly $.50 down. I know how those of you who sold feel - but I hope you are experiencing a great sense of relief to be released from the stress of holding this stock. Good luck - and maybe we'll see you again in due time. I know I appreciate all that you have contributed to the board.

I remember the false report that was published minutes before closing on the day the FDA approved Afrezza. It was around June 27, 2014 if I recall correctly. The report "caused" the share price to drop over $2 in minutes. After hours, the share price climbed back into the green after it came out that the report was false. Today's "news event" seem strikingly similar to me... The interpretation of the Globe report was shaky at best, but the way I read the story, it appears that MNKD may have met the two conditions to proceed. There are (1) connections to Israel (note that they did NOT say it had to be an Israeli company) via Alfred Mann's $100M contribution to Israel's Technion Institute and (2) MannKind appears to have beat the November deadline date set by the exchange commission, after which they must hold off on any new IPO until the new decision related to the ETFs. Perhaps the intent of this report was simply to shake more shares loose. After all, we've seen this happen before... --- Regardless, good fortune to you. I bought into the FUD hours before ADCOM and sold my shares at a loss. Had to buy back in at a higher price. This felt exactly like that time. Buy more!

Saw it going down, sold on impulse, saw it reverse, bought back same day $0.40 higher... never sold another share again. I'll follow MNKD into the hole if need be.

Yeah this morning when cfield said he sold, my balls shrank for a quick sec. Then I realized someone probably just hacked his account. He's too smart to get caught up in this BS LOL! I wish I was. I need to take my own medicine/advice and just shut off the damn computer.... Hey, at least I booked the loss in 2015 for taxes?? Lol. Really do apologize for my overreaction/fear. Twas dumb. I admit it. But, lesson learned.

You can read as much as I have, study it as much, but you're absolutely right that experience is the key. I now have that, though I kind of wish I didn't have to gain it this way lol.

Wait until your first bear MARKET! That's always a good teacher. Though better to have at a younger age so as to have years to make up losses from them (forgive me if you have been investing significant amounts of money since before 2007)

I admit it. But, lesson learned. You are the one who preaches disciplined investing. I've got to admit that your post this morning shook me a bit as well. And I had just purchased several thousand additional shares! But as I have said repeatedly, I did what you did this morning in the hours immediately preceding ADCOM. AF was slinging s**t and I had never seen so much smoke without fire. So I can understand you fearing for any remnants of your investment. I think my takeaway for today is that the shorts understand that the slightest rumor can cause panic. What is going to happen when real news of something positive comes in? We are in for a short squeeze from which there will be no escaping. I hope you rebuy as soon as possible at these low levels.
