The last 12 months have only been a Sanofi pilot for Afrezza

I have gone through the Sanofi/MNKD agreement with fine tooth comb and then the comb broke after learning/reading 99.9% of this signed agreement is in favor of Sanofi.  There is less than 1/10 of a % that leaves MNKD any wiggle room.  It is almost like taking Afrezza, giving Sanofi the rights to put Afrezza in an unmarked box, unopened box, placing it on the shelf.

What I read the portion regarding "Bankruptcy" and Sanofi's rights, I had to ask myself, what the heck did I get myself into.  This prompted a hundred other questions running through my mind to which leads me to this.

1. Far to much speculation from all investors, longs and shorts.
2. Far less information being given from Sanofi and MNKD.
3. Is/has Sanofi setup MNKD for failure.
4. Does MNKD have any recourse?

Question... questions... questions and no answers.

I maybe old school but I began to fall back on my teachings when I worked for FCS (Federal Civil Service) and member of the U.S. Army, it's call MDMP process.  I have used this process when faced with the most difficult task, complicated questions, and complicated situations.  I use this process even within the civilian sector.  The end results are astounding and usually solve and/or provide an 80% solution.  At the end of the process it eliminates all the "WHAT IF'S" and provides light at the end of the tunnel.

I challenge everyone on the board (select few that look at situations realistically) to put their heads together(as a group) and go through this process as a group.  It is a painstaking/pain in the Okole/Azz process but when all is said and done, the final product and results you will find amazing.  If one chooses to head up this group, I would be more willing to guide you all through the process.

For this to be successful, you have to think outside the box, e.g., change the content within the PPT and agree upon what is applicable to MNKD, issues that pertain to MNKD (as it relates to Sanofi), current issues (factual issues) at hand.

I know many of you will probably give me grief for this post but the reality is, if you want to get it done, if you want MNKD (Afrezza/TS) to succeed, and if you want to truly invest in your investment, then you'll at least make an effort.  I would also highly recommend that if and/or when the MDMP process is complete, a copy be forwarded to Al himself.  I would also suggest that if a group is formed, that all discussion/decisions/processes/PPT slides be locked from public viewing until everyone is satisfied and it is validated that Al has received a copy of the MDMP.

You can laugh now, but it's all you have since their no other solution... and especially if we're not getting anything from both Sanofi/MNKD.  Most of you already know what the issues are, now figure out how to address them!

HG42, what you propose might be an interesting exercise that we can use to occupy our time, something probably much needed at present. However, to expect that Mr. Mann will even look at it is probably somewhat naive, in my humble opinion.

Good idea, but like others have stated, it's probably a futile undertaking at this point. 

The problem is that none of us truly know what the issues are. Sure, we can point to Spirometry, insurance coverage, patient/physician adoption, lack of marketing, etc.

MNKD and SNY both are already aware of those issues. They've done far more research than we'd ever have money or time to duplicate. Short of them handing over all the data that they're looking at and asking us for solutions to those problems, there's not much chance we're going to come up with anything better than what they've already strategized- if they're truly trying. And if they're not, it doesn't matter anyway.

Very good question.  Due to the nature of several current and unfolding issues, one that sticks in my crawl is... for exercise purposes, how do we get to Tier 2 level?  Running a fast scan of MDMP in my brain (head hurts like hell), in my opinion, if this could be addressed as part (not all) of the issues... many of the current issues would be resolved over time, e.g., cards begin to fall into place.

Yes you are correct.  However their are times entities get stuck in the mud (tunnel vision).  We on the other hand can and/or may influence change by thinking outside the box.

Dam... I just noticed that I could add attachments in the upper right corner.  I am going to modify the MDMP slides sometime today and will attach to this thread.

Is it possible that the GLP-1 being considered for technosphere is exclusively controlled by the agreement?  They have this great option,  but no other company wants to spend time and energy to conduct pre-negotiations for Sanofi who will jump in and tie it up for months or years in agreement legalize, while not even matching the potential new partnership offer, the patent expires and the stock price is driven down even further.

Just found my answer;

Add Attachment: If the forum staff has attachments enabled, you will see this button on the posting page. If this is true and Al is finally realizing that the deal is bad, all the more reason for me (and all investors in my opinion) to want to see one partner notify the other of intention to terminate the partnership.  I'd prefer MNKD to terminate, but if SNY does, I'll take that too.  The drug works, and I'm convinced at this point that the primary reason that we haven't seen more sales is because SNY doesn't want there to be any, for whatever reason or another.  If we aren't seeing substantial improvements in insurance coverages either, it begs the question "Just what HAS Sanofi been doing this whole time?"  The bare minimum it appears.

I concur with other posters in the belief that Al will fund the company as necessary in the near term and I also have to believe that a competitor to SNY would be interested in taking a drug that SNY once had and making it successful not only to steal what could have been their revenue, but also to throw it in their face.  I'll use the word that everyone hates, but I HOPE that Al is fed up at this point and is prepared to take action, which he now can do as CEO.  Fortune favors the bold and at this point, we have almost nowhere to go but up. We might as well take the shot.
