Considering scripts have barely moved since they said this, I can only assume we are now 8wks + as many weeks as it's been since we heard this - behind estimates. EOTD I think you are one of the few posters left who does not think zebras; unicorns on the other hand, some have seemingly progressed to unicorns per the latest "pilot" theory du jour. nRx tRx may have flatlined but refills prntscr.com/996jnb continue a linear rise. IMS, Symphony agree well in this area, the other numbers may be very noisy. Now that the word on COSTCO is out, that alone may bump up the numbers. The Costco news, although I haven't read into it much, may not become known to many prescribers and by all indications the lack of prescribing is not been limited by insurance coverage. Insurance just doesn't explain <600nRx/wk; as it stands now, the insurance bar/barrier is MUCH higher than the limit of <600nRx/wk we've seen which would indicate there is another tantamount issue involved in the prescription paradox.

I am not sure how that affects tRx, nRx, refills. For now, I just watch refills. It's the only thing that matters for patients' acceptance (maybe--time will tell). Not sure about the flatlining these past few months, can't explain. Maybe prescribing physicians are maxed out on their capacity

Unfortunately I think this is already baked in as even the AFs have not cried foul on Afrezza's seemingly superb efficacy.

Well... well... well, it has been 9 months since Afrezza has hit the US market and everyone's expectations have spun out of control. Between the YMB and Proboard, etc., it's time for me to turn out the lights for a while. I'm tired of the what if's, well they need to do this or that, assumptions, and all the hypothetical thoughts that have produced nothing but... nothing! I have been long on MNKD going on 3 years now (still holding) but it is time to turn off all message boards, stock trackers, stock accounts, and put it to bed until we get facts from both Sanofi and Mannkind. Once facts are reveled, then maybe... only maybe will I turn the lights back on. Decision are made on substance (facts), not assumptions, for this reason it is time to walk away for a while. This idea of a pilot seems very possible. Afrezzauser.com's blog for example, drs who prescribe. The number barely moves. If SYN wanted to limit prescriptions, the way to do it is to limit to drs prescribing. Just a thought.
