I'd be interested in a chain of clinics for MannKind investors. Those would surely pop up throughout the country and be well-attended. and you proposed drug of choice would be ? ..... Oxycodone, Heroin, LSD.... what addictive substance would best solve our problems? Go to the gym. And leave your smartphone at home. It works, trust me, I've tried it.

If only most everyone felt like you, indigodaisy, I wouldn't have to have my nose in document drafting! (Not that that's not really, really fun!)

While living in Orange County, CA, I would sometimes see these mobile MRI labs. Not sure it they are still around. But how about a mobile facility or like you say some rental space? Here in the mid west my new eye doctor, for example, just shows up a couple afternoons per week at a local supermarket, in the backroom where he has his equipment. Very professional and fast, you get the vision test, the kind of prescription you want within 10 minutes at most. Then your credit card gets swiped through his paypal reader and he takes his $45. Then it's time to choose glasses. That's a whole different story. Mobile clinics could be a good idea in rural communities, perhaps. They could be an off shoot of a permanent clinic too.
As much as I love the business angle to it, still don't think there is a medical practicality. Would you really trust an unknown doctor prescribing you something that might kill you, and more so, if they weren't going to be there next week .... ?
As I'm not diabetic - I don't know how much of diabetes diagnosis and management now happens through the GP. But I suspect it could become so much more with less reliance on these endos that don't scale to meet the needs of what is approaching an epidemic.
I think this mobile concept would be best suited for expanded testing services and evaluation ...
Or heck maybe I've gotten old enough where I've become rigid in my imagination. Maybe BP can bypass Google and just partner directly with Uber ... "Request DRUG" ..... and it shows up at your door within 5mins, and you paid it via Paypal on the backend.

Maybe they could rent space from the local circus when it's doing its tour? This is getting stranger and stranger...

I agree. I think it might be of interest to those who cannot afford medical services or live in an unserviced area. But, the diabetes clinics to which I refer would be permanent, staffed by an endocrinologist and other experienced health care professionals, have spirometry available, have people who can fill out and get authorization from insurance providers on site, and offer Afrezza along with injection insulin choices. By the way, I just happened to speak with an older T1 diabetic today who had never heard of Afrezza. When I mentioned it, his eyes lit up as if he could not believe that it was really true. He told me that he was exhausted from injecting himself and that he would speak to his doctor soon.

Maybe even done at college campuses in summer using dorm rooms that have been vacated. I've done several guitar programs like this (week at Loyola marymont, one in seattle). and it was done really well. One price for food, dorm room, instruction and hanging around others willing to do the same. (actually 2 prices, you could do it without paying for room if you commuted each day) Shout out--National Guitar Workshop Fun times back in the day Nice program in the UK. IF we ever recover
