www.webmd.com/diabetes/guide/diabetes-types-insulin#1What Type of Insulin Is Best for My Diabetes? Your doctor will work with you to prescribe the type of insulin that's best for you and your diabetes. Making that choice will depend on many things, including: How you respond to insulin. (How long it takes the body to absorb it and how long it remains active varies from person to person.) Lifestyle choices. The type of food you eat, how much alcohol you drink, or how much exercise you get will all affect how your body uses insulin. Your willingness to give yourself multiple injections per day How often you check your blood sugar Your age Your goals for managing your blood sugar Afrezza, a rapid-acting inhaled insulin, is FDA-approved for use before meals for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The drug peaks in your blood in about 15-20 minutes and it clears your body in 2-3 hours. It must be used along with long-acting insulin in people with type 1 diabetes.

And then they don't include it in the rapid acting or short acting - or ANY category under the break down.
It's odd.

I just wish they'd show it in line with the other insulin as a comparison.
It's odd to do a paragraph on it and then not include it in the comparison

This really is great press, a lot of people use WebMD.

Maybe I should break it down and make it a little easier for some of y'all to understand: if you are diabetic and use needles, this is better.
Try it.

This is rather amazing press. It's got it's own separate mention. The diabetes 'establishment' seems to be finally slowly coming around.

A little odd to not see it in the chart. It's as if WebMD is implying that it is Ultra-Rapid but just no official category at this point.
Btw, shame on Sny for splashing only Toujeo ads on the very screen where WebMD is touting Afrezza. Where's the Ad to compliment the para saying pair with long acting. Lost opportunity Sny.

Lost opportunity Sny. tell it to Pascale Witz or Dr. Brandicourt. The politics are extremely complex. I don't see the ads, have ad blocker software, but maybe I should.

I got a Freestyle glucometer add on one viewing and a pair of winter boots on the next try.

I had touejo ads as well. The Toujeo Ad literally pops up right in the middle of the Afrezza touting by WebMD. Oh the irony of it all.

Guys, you have to know that the ads you see are based on your browsing history.

Guys, you have to know that the ads you see are based on your browsing history. Good point. Didn't think it was 100% though. Besides it would be hitting my diabetes tags because I search Afrezza and never Toujeo which means many diabetics reading that WebMD article would be seeing only a Toujeo Ad in the middle of an Afrezza shout out.
