I wish shorts would go away. So tired of this. Can't they find something better to short? And what has happened to the TS announcement Matt said was imminent?

Pretty sure Matt will announce something before the end of the month. Doing the CC he seemed eager to give us something but it wasn't finalized. |

Today's price action also has to do with a GS price downgrade before the open to $0.25. The headline was also then shared via Bloomberg by arie Shapira who seems to be the shorts mouthpiece via Bloomberg. Every time there was a Jason krp downgrade arie would be spreading the news. They just won't give up and management still is mum. Hope we get something soon by way of good news. Very tiring to be a mnkd investor.

Well he thought it would have been consumated by the time he presented but as we know it didn't happen. Based on his comments I had hoped it would have been announced a few days after that presentation but here we are again with no follow through. Sigh... |

Not sure why MannKind management feels the need to pre-announce deals that haven't been finalized. If nothing else, it provides a major incentive to the prospective partner to negotiate harder, knowing that MannKind is under the gun to deliver a deal. I wonder if it has anything to do with shareholder demands for visibility...

If true, one has to wonder how many stocks GS covers on which it has a $0.25 price target. More to the point, how many penny stocks does GS cover?  Surely, they can find better stocks to which to assign their highly paid, or should I say, overpaid analysts. |

It also seems some are spinning the upcoming meeting with Deerfield as some sort of ominous come to Jesus event mandated by Deerfield... with some unspeakable (given that it is fake) risk.

Shorts will try their best to hold it under a dollar for as long as they can,, and we all know already they can,, so the only thing to pop this will be company news,, we need it desperately ...

Again nothing gets us out of this mess other than sales revenue from Afrezza and new products (which are a long way away). A Technosphere announcement while positive will only generate a short term spike in the SP and once that fizzles away shorts will attack again. We all invested here because we believe Afrezza will be the premier choice for Diabetics worldwide and also the Technosphere technology, so far both of these have been lackluster.

Afrezza price cut announcement needed stat in my opinion. If nothing else, smacks SNY in the back pocket.
