The moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligned with Mars? U inferring the dawning of some kind of age?

I just feel like there are so many potential catalysts that could catch the shorts by surprise and I know that has been a common theme for a long time but no doubt in my mind they knew the Sanofi playbook that lead to termination, easy money for them. The only way they win is if the company goes bankrupt and it would be sold before that happens (maybe I'm naive on a MNKD bankruptcy?). In the next month there could be a flurry of announcements that reshape the path of this company I just don't understand why they don't collect their profit and be done.

Maybe the shorts have backed off, to let the pps rise on its own,, only to whack it back down, we have lived through this before..

$27.49 by years end. This is my number and I'm standing behind it! I would be extremely happy and wealthy if we saw $27.49 by year end. Yep! I could take a vacation and stop working at White Castle and driving the midnight shift on Uber.

If you look at L2, most of the big volumns clogging any upward trend are gone. Cumulated Ask of 1 million of shares takes us now to $2.88. There are not these x00k blocks at every little 0.01 as I mentioned some time ago. IB could locate 1K of shares (!) right now at 56%. Great ;-) dont think that this is of help for shorts. Add: eaten up. borrow rate back at 147%.

longinvstr, great points, perhaps a bit too optimistic at this point for me, but I certainly give your scenario a good shot!

The risk/reward profile has changed. Point man on the attack force is without sound intel. One could hear the stress in Olson's pleading voice (I'll paraphrase), "Dammit, tell me where you're getting the financing!!" Having no success with that question, he probes the other end of the balance sheet, "So, remind me, when is the loan due to SNY and for how much?" Knowledge is king and the discomfort of him being without it was very apparent, IMO. I don't discount for a second there has been some leakage that points to a future overseas, or other, partnership. But, I think the bigger picture is the realization that the attempt to snuff this little company has failed. "Alternative" forms of unseen support have arrived. VDEX not only represents a "free" channel for Afrezza but the very best way for the story to be told. They can say what MNKD can not and proof will be provided via the hundreds of CGM's that will accompany new Rx's. Add the mystery that is RLS and the potential tailwind of $'s they could represent. The survival line continues with new COO and legal hire dots that all connect to, "We've lost this one." Rational next step = cover as orderly as possible And VDEX is really a wild card. No doubt in part because of this board, they know some diehard longs are involved. What happens if the first VDEX centers come out and do a PR says they are experiencing resounding success? Large interest, scripts and immediate plans for expansion would be I think terrifying to them because unlike BP, insurance, chains and looking at Symphony numbers - how would they control it? Or spin it? No guarantee this will happen. I do hope it happens for all involved. But between VDEX and RLS (and the cloak of secrecy) one would think they'd have to feel at least a little uncertain ....
