Diketopiperazine salts for drug delivery and related methods
Abstract: Drug delivery systems have been developed based on the formation of diketopiperazine carboxylate salts and microparticles containing the same. The systems may further comprise a bioactive agent. Related methods for making and using the biologically active agent delivery compositions are also provided. In certain embodiments, the pharmaceutically acceptable salts described can be formed by removal of solvent by methods including distillation, evaporation, spray drying or lyophilization.

mango - Do we really need a new thread for every patent? I am renaming this thread "MNKD Patents". How about you post any new patents here. If I feel really ambitious and have loads of free time, I may move some of the old patent threads here - but it may be a while.

There goes baba throwing around those fancy Latin phrases Liane, do you think we should consider creating a thread just for baba when he has these grammatical outbursts? The Latin term vox populi is "the voice of the people," so perhaps a thread with the title vox baba ?

This is not the usual variation on a theme. Looks like emergency use inhaler for acute situations. Nice. Nice X 2. This patent is essentially the foundation of MannKind and Technosphere. This is military technology and also emergency tech and for rapid emergency civilian use. The patent, in the whole picture view kinda perspective, mimics that first original patent (of Technosphere) by Pharmaceutical Discovery Corp that Al acquired and subsequently filed patent under MannKind after doing which gave birth—Afrezza. This is essential for military and first responders, like you mentioned, but also for civilians. mango remembers reading that Al and KK were somehow connected to the military. mango also remembers reading and seeing the POTUS support the military more than any president he has had to personally experience (mango is young). I am thinking of the VA contract. I am thinking of how TechnoVax just this past month received HUGE positive results and publicity for their pre-clinical Zika virus results. I am thinking about where ( Brazil) Zika effected the worst. I am thinking how Jose Galarza of TechnoVax is from South America. Disclosure: mango is a dreamer but he is also smarter than Spencer Osborne.
