It's real obvious to me Mike is interested in turning the company around not selling it. The plan IMO is to re-do the brand. Prove we can take market share, and then down the road entertain offers. Let's enjoy the ride up:-). If they sell it now we won't get what Al invisioned or what we deserve. Agree Sports, mnkd ain't selling anytime soon. shorts think more dilution coming soon. Longs think overseas deal is close for much needed cash. Updated ultra label coming end of September. dtc commercials coming mid July. scripts should start increasing much faster. Brazil deal had no cash and not approved yet. dilution at the current pps would be devastating. shorts know this. We need those shipments to be true! What happens next is crucial in my opinion... I think afrezza is a fine insulin. It keeps blood glucose in range. crazy..... I would have thought that is what patients want. Physicians I would think would want the best for the diabetic as well.

I've been sending videos. he'll push his endo to try next appt. send him the pictures of the continuing glucose monitors. you know how truly amazing they are. tell him, he can be taught to do the same. Take them, the pictures of the continuing glucose monitors, with to the endo's office.

Like it Peppy. Pictures of the CGMs say it all. Any endo or pcp worth their degree would want to know how this is happening. If they put up a resistance or don't seem interested in finding out how this is happening...walk out the door...and be sure to let them know why!

What price would MNKD sell for? Probably no more than +50% to the stock price. Which means very little compared to where almost everyone bought MNKD. If someone buys MannKind it will be the assets in a bankruptcy court. Common shareholders will get ZERO. |

I love the idea of all diabetics having a CGM. Every year these things get better... in 10 years I wouldn't be surprised if every diabetic in the US has one.
If Apple ever gets the watch CGM working properly I'd buy one, and I hate wearing watches, and don't have diabetes.
The CGM is a revolution (not evolution) of diabetes care, it's adoption can't happen quickly enough...
of of course it might benefit Afrezza sales also ; )

Once Mike can prove that he can sell something and has a more comfortable cash runway then I will look for an opening. Thus far I have not been given a solid reason to risk what little capital I have left on this venture. |

This position will be the “first face” of MannKind as s/he will serve as our front desk officer. This position will also serve as the facilities lead for our Westlake Village Headquarters, ensuring that our workplace is running effectively and efficiently. This role will also serve as the senior executive assistant to our Chief People and Workplace Officer.
Provide front desk coverage for facility which includes greeting visitors, outside vendors, consultants and employees from other MannKind locations and directing them accordingly.
Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Make high-level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company.
Answer outside telephone calls and route them to appropriate individuals; transfer telephone calls accordingly and provide general information if necessary.
Serve as primary facilities contact between MannKind and facility/building owner representatives.
Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, equipment procurement, maintenance and repairs.
Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys and back-up to security access cards, etc.)
Supervise the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities.
Negotiate the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc., for the entire staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Maintain visitor log and employee log on a daily basis. Receive Federal Express, DHL and UPS packages on a daily basis and maintain log book indicating the details of the package.
Receive U.S. mail and inter-office mail and distribute.
Work on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Handle detailed information of a highly confidential and critical nature.
Provide administrative support to assist executive.
Prepare presentations and documents for senior level meetings.
Collect, analyze and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff.
Gather, compile and report on information relevant to supervisor’s assignments, including monthly reports and perform special projects as needed.
Make travel arrangements for management team, arrange and schedule meetings and conferences and update calendars for department managers.
Responsible for observing all Company, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the work listed above and may include other assignments as necessary.
Requirements
BS/BA Degree preferred.
Associates degree and/or business school certification and/or at least 8 years prior experience working with senior level executives within and outside the company and/or customer relations experience or the equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
Previous project coordination experience with problem solving ability Strong organizational abilities Proficiency in all MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and grace under pressure
Ability to work beyond normal business hours and travel as needed.
