Just thought I would peek in and see what is being said as the the stock price gets pummeled again. The usual optimistic dribble I see and a multitude of guesses as to why this is: bear trap, etc. I looked at the sales of Afrezza and saw not much of an improvement over the last couple of years. Why am I here now? Just to see if the same Mannkind Mafia is steadily pumping BS, and what to my surprise...they are. And to remind myself what a bad investment I made!

Let's face it, there is no hope for this company but I have to hold on to my shares in case sometime in 2027 they bounced back to $3.00. Great enthusiasm yesterday during the CC even though as dilution was mentioned. Great news on ads...tv etc, but no news on where they are getting the money to pay for them...I think I'm done with this company and stock. To bad though, great product.

I was simply trying to change my image from being a pessimist to one of an optimist and found that drinking early on the day of the CC helps. In actuality though, I really do hope the management team comes out with good news and does not simply kick the can down the road to the next CC as has been the case for far to long.

I'm just giddy with anticipation and optimism that this will be the best ever CC ever. With all the great things that have been brewing for the the past several years and hoping from CC to CC that we will soon turn the corner, I sincerely believe this is it! I don't understand all the anxiety coming from some...this is going to be great! I can see the PPS jumping big time tomorrow based on great news that until only recently has been kept secret. Good luck to us all.

Okay Joey etc, let's put this discussion to rest: First, my post on Jan 7, 2014, simply stated the de Stephano may have right on ORMP as the pps jumped signicantly w/o any trial results, but simply acceptance by Israel and Australia, while MNKD barely moved the needle with good trial results. Nothing about buying selling, nothing about prices etc! I suggest you look it up and read it. Second, my perceived negativity is in response to the overly optimistic posts, the last was when the pps was over $6.00 and suddenly talk of $125.00 shows up. I am not short on this stock and take issue with those who lend shares to short sellers who in turn drive the price down. I take the product seriously as I have several members of family who are diabetics...one in Scotland and on a pump, therefore I hope like hell this product succeeds and is distributed worldwide. I would normally say I' m sorry for offending your sensibilies, but the would be somewhat disingenuous of me. Hopefully we'll hear no more of this Orlon guy talk and stick to the product.

All of this 'great news' that should see the share price go up,up,up, followed by the great 'bear raid' and 'shorts having their way,' followed by the recapitalization, followed by yada, yada, yada,'give it two more years and wham...to the moon,' does not take into account the lack of sales of AFREZZA. No sales of a key product of any company is not going to end well.

This appears to a lot more than short selling. One long term holder quit and sold a couple of weeks ago said something to the effect that this isn't a company you invest in, it's a stock that's manipulated solely for financial gain. I'm beginning to agree. I should have sold when it hit $6.71, but silly me, after all these years of believing in the company I'm now resigned to the fact that it's going nowhere.
