The vaccine contains mRNA not DNA and Pfizer's version consists of 2 shots. Their vaccine has to be stored at minus 90f. mRNA will enter one's DNA and you essentially become a GMO = your God given DNA is changed. I hope MNKD has nothing to do with this vaccine which also contains nanobots and Luciferase. Luciferase (Google it) is as component that leaves an indelible "mark" signifying that you have taken the vaccine. Heh, mebbe it would make my azz glow like a firefly! 🤣 ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luciferase)

MNKD has not commented about anything related to COVID, except in the pipeline section it still says "Two other opportunities remain under investigation".
Hopefully the comments MC made about upcoming pipeline updates in Q1 are related to COVID.

The mRNA doesn't interact with the cell's nuclear DNA: "Particularly compared with DNA as a therapeutic or more specifically as a vaccine, mRNA offers strong safety advantages. As the minimal genetic construct, it harbors only the elements directly required for expression of the encoded protein. Moreover, while recombination between single-stranded RNA molecules may occur in rare cases, mRNA does not interact with the genome. Thus, potentially detrimental genomic integration is excluded. Finally, this lack of genomic integration in combination with mRNA being non-replicative as well as metabolically decaying within a few days makes mRNA a merely transient carrier of information." "Transient carrier" just means only the info needed to synthesize the viral particles is delivered into the cytoplasm. Indeed: "In terms of efficacy, mRNA-based therapeutics profit from the fact that they do not need to cross the nuclear envelope as opposed to DNA. In contrast to peptides, mRNA vaccines lack MHC haplotype restriction. In addition, mRNA binds to pattern recognition receptors and mRNA vaccines may be designed to be self-adjuvanting, a property which peptide- and protein-based vaccines lack." "TechnoVex Inc. Privately owned company." I'm confused, isn't that mankind owned? To the best of my knowledge, Mannkind does not own Technovax. Just a partner, and not a very active one.

What makes you think Mike is not already working on this? Mike mentioned awhile back on one of the calls MNKD is doing something but gave no details. He is probably under a non-disclosure at this point. Most of the times Mike has mentioned Covid he's mostly just said stuff about how it encouraged the company to streamline, do work from home, get into Telehealth, and such. The one time he mentioned Covid related products, at least that I've seen in the last 5 calls (of various sorts), this is what he said: seekingalpha.com/article/4375558-mannkind-corporation-mnkd-ceo-michael-castagna-presents-oppenheimer-fall-healthcare-life?part=singleSteve Lichtman
One participant on the call asked about COVID vaccine that, technosphere's ability to be shelf stable and not [indiscernible] would perhaps lend itself positively there. Is that a possibility, any discussions there?
Michael Castagna
Yes. Steve, we didn't want to jump on the COVID bandwagon real quickly. When we heard COVID, we looked at and said, okay, what can we use our platform, our scalability, and our manufacturing capacity for? And we looked at a few things, we quickly killed them, because [indiscernible] got to make it, bet on some of these or kill them and move forward and focus on your company. And so we were able to go through probably four or five assets. We actually killed all of them. We have -- a couple of we're still looking at. We think now, because at the time we were hoping COVID would go away in July, right and people would be back to normal. Now it looks like this'll be penetrating and simmering for a while. We are really looking at some of the opportunities we thought about before and seeing if there's any therapeutic products we can bring forward on the platform.
Everyone can judge for themselves how excited to be. Is that a pic from your spa day at the Four Seasons?

I've always thought Inovio would have a bigger regulatory climb due to that.

In areas of DNA where RNA binds to one of the DNA threads in such a way that the complementary DNA thread becomes the sole thread (R-loop structures), the DNA stability will change if RNA is chemically modified by m6A.
"Several research groups are now working together to study what effect this can have on the DNA molecule. We already know that R-loop areas are associated with sequences of DNA containing active genes and that this can lead to chromosomal breakage and the loss of genetic information," explains Klungland.

Getting a bit over my head, but isn't what you are citing about RNA produced in the nucleus? These RNA vaccines don't bind with DNA, they don't even enter the cell nucleus... I believe. I believe CRISPR uses exo-RNA strands to bind with DNA, but that isn't something that is easy to orchestrate, and unlikely to occur by accident ? ? I do wonder what public perception of risk will be for these mRNA vaccines. I'd imagine general public would find it all a bit confusing.
