We can only hope a TS deal is announced soon. Even with some real DTC scripts will take a while to show up with the delays in appts, spirometer, insurance etc.... If no TS deal or significant rise in scripts by end of Q2 I think we are in trouble. Sitting long & strong but NERVOUS.

Now (while your account is at its low $$$ point) may be a good time to convert a traditional IRA to a ROTH IRA. I converted earlier in 2015. My previous IRA deposits were pre-tax, so I will have to pay a one-time tax on my account value when I do my 2015 taxes, but by converting to a ROTH now I will not have to pay any capital gains taxes NOR any taxes on cash withdrawals for my retirement (although there is a 5 year waiting period after converting). When MNKD does take off, I will save a LOT of $$$ tomorrow for a minimal tax payment today. FYI: Consider this a public service announcement. Good fortune all. that's a great tip for true longs, will discuss with my CPA, thanks mnholdemAs for anyone still lending out shares at this point, shame on you. Even if that includes people we love dearly.

Yep another company is working on triptans by inhalation for migraine, and other companies already have COPD drugs. This space is getting very crowded. Maybe there is TOO MUCH fanfare and confirmation bias here. Really, the science and the patents are great, so are the FDA trials, so why.... Maybe they have to play a little dirty, take a card from the Sanofi deck

I'm still long but no way in heck would I buy anymore without some assurances from management things will turn. And don't let the rah rah's steer you folks toward buy more. Frankly, I hope management feels the financial pain that shareholders who bought into this name have felt. If they bear no conscience in how they have mismanaged the company then let them feel in hell one day.

Lets all be realistic, script numbers are very, very low and will probably take a long time for them to increase.

There is no reason to buy MNKD at any price. If you still believe wait for 'game changer' news. Something that bumps up the stock 10%+ on high volume. A major catalyst...(we've talked about them in different posts).
MNKD has been a Hold for over 6 months. In my opinion you average down on companies you know are going to survive and are just out of favor. MNKD isn't one of those...
I agree January will be key.

seanismorris I have to agree, that's where I sit right now. I'm holding but down over 60%! and don't actually see a clear path to success... which begs the question why am I even still holding(?) - I don't really know. When I made my last buy and settled my average at $5.03 I was absolutely convinced we could not go below $2.50 and my maximum downside was 50% (and only for a "short" time). I don't see why anyone would still be accumulating based on the current trajectory.

I bought today at 1.85, 1/2 of what I intended to add. Got another limit buy at 1.75, lets see what happens!
These prices will not last.

I'll buy when one or more insiders buys at market price.

Sort of like about 40 years ago, when "I couldn't care less" became "I could care less." No, haven't lost my mind, although if I did, I likely wouldn't notice. Just cruising a couple of topics, and it's pretty depressing. A lot of the short side is represented here these days.

Why is it that this topic, started by a brand new "newbie" with thousands upon thousands of shares signs on without any previous posts and asks what do to with his shares, followed by similar comments of other brand new "newbies" lamenting their situation?
I always become suspicious. Are these folk trolls? Are they other previous posters in a new guise? Are they old FUDsters in a new guise? These are the things that leave me "very confused".
Mannkind will recover after tax sales.

Simply time to buy more. What does it matter if you get it at $1.76 or $1.74?
