If I had a groundbreaking product that more than anything needs widespread awareness, I'd have my PR department constantly be pushing for interviews, tweeting every day, holding Afrezza user group dinners in all 50 states, keeping my website up to date every day. How do you go years, literally years, without updating your website. Afrezza deserves aggressive promotion across every media platform. When dosed correctly nothing else matches it. We need a CEO who has a passion to let the world know that they are on the way to turning big pharma on its head. Imagine how Mannkind would promote Afrezza is Steve Jobs, Larry Ellison or Bill Gates were CEO. That's what we need. Calm, competent and aggressive with absolute conviction in the company, its products and its future. Sorry to pour cold ice water on your post but the problem with promoting a drug is a little thing called the FDA. Steve, Larry and Bill where in industries where you can boast (and lie) about your products and get away with it. You can't in the biotech/pharma sector. The regulation is quite strict and demanding and will punish a biotech company severely for hyping a product.

PARIS (Reuters) - French drugmaker Sanofi said on Wednesday it had submitted an application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a single daily insulin injection to treat adults with type 2 diabetes.
Sanofi said it had requested a six-month review of its new drug application by the FDA, rather than the standard 10 months.
"A large unmet medical need still exists for people with type 2 diabetes, as more than half are not at their blood sugar goal despite using oral medications or insulin," Sanofi's diabetes head, Pierre Chancel, said in a statement.
The latest application involves a combination of insulin glargine with its lixisenatide drug, Sanofi said.

What does this mean for us? Why? I think it means we only have to take our disappointment pill once a day???

I sent this,
"Matt, If Mannkind is going to give us more coal for Christmas, can you make sure it is lump wood charcoal and not the square briguettes? Lump charcoal works better in my smoker that I will smoke my Christmas turkey in. Merry Christmas and keep up the good work!"

The surface has barely been scratched on this deal...the SEC / FBI have a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY here How can they do this when they already issued their indictment and none of the counts have to do with Mannkind?

He needs to apologize and turn in his co-conspirators. His only hope. Asking MS to apologize and turn in his co conspirators is like asking Al Mann to tell his investors exactly what Sanofi is doing with Afrezza and what his buy out price is. It's not going to happen!

Just so board members are aware, CNA Finance is not in any affiliated with the CNA Financial, the multi billion dollar insurance entity. You have to wonder about any company that tries to confuse readers/investors by utilizing a name closely resembling that of a major company. I surprised CNA Financial has not sent this company a cease and desist order. Trend Bingo. As I originally posted, the guy has no more credibility than anyone on here does. His writings are meaningless in the grand scheme of things because no one, other than shorts, have gotten the MNKD story right to date in regards to how it is trading. I hope to be proven wrong with buyout news that comes out tomorrow prior to the market opening. My wife is smarting over my decision to invest in it and she is threatening to start an affair with the pool boy if I don't show positive results soon.

Thank you for posting it but how is his article any different than what many users post on here voicing their own opinions? My point is there is nothing new he offers that hasn't been discussed here time and time again, imo. And thank god for the Shkreli news. It's been a very effective diversion from the dumpster fire Mannkind has been this holiday season.

Could? Yes. Would they now when they didn't when they could have back in 2011? No. There is no basis to sue him. Contacting the FDA isn't illegal. There is def a paper trail through email and text of Martins affairs. If he thought he was this untouchable I have to imagine this case is going to open up into a lot of other areas. I would think that Mannkind has more important things to focus on than Shkreli right now.

At least the Shkreli arrest gets our minds off other problems like inept MNKD management, lousy sales of Afrezza, a double-crossing marketing partner and many others major irritants. And you'll be glad to know that once MNKD competitor BIOD is looking for STRATEGIC ALTERNATIVES to save itself. finance.yahoo.com/news/inplay-briefing-com-055139997.html#biod

Exercise in futility to be honest. Sanofi isn't going to do any such thing in the US. Sanofi was smart to at least do the coach program. But just how well is it being pushed and utilized? www.afrezza.com/support-and-savings

He sure stirred up the hornets nest by raising prices on Daraprim. He might have been able to play this scam for a while longer before getting caught otherwise. What a poor excuse for a human. Whatever happens at trial, he's radioactive now and his happy high flying lifestyle is at it's end. On top of the criminal charges, he'll have civil liability for everything he has cheated his way into. Shkreli's actions on Daraprim might have gotten him a lot of press but this indictment against him was long in the works prior to him hiking the price of Daraprim. What we don't know and what the Gov's investigation might find is that many of the things he's done since leaving RTRX might point so criminal activity. So for example, his raising the price of Daraprim might have been for sole purpose of using those fund for his own personal needs instead of using them for research. Everything this guy has done is now open for investigation because he clearly has used his position of power and leadership to enrich himself. Thank god for the powers that be at RTRX for going after him because they could have clearly left him alone. The question now is does he know where a lot of bodies are buried and will he spill the secrets that he learned, who taught him how to do what he does and create a bigger scandal that takes down a lot more people? Shkreli, imo, is just the tip of the iceberg. He's like the brash young mobster who broke the rules of omerta and is key in bringing down the mafia.

Retrophin is asking for $65 million as well as unspecified amounts of Shkreli’s past compensation. Shkreli responded to the lawsuit, saying, “The $65 million Retrophin wants from me would not dent me. I feel great. I’m licking my chops over the suits I’m going to file against them.” The jurors need to dent him sufficient that he will need to get a job as a Walmart greeter, and make it a condition that he never ever have any role in finance in any way shape or form again. Hey, that's demeaning to Walmart greeters who are typically good people! Martin should be the guy who has to hand clean Andy Gumps after they are returned from work sites.
