Hey group. I was a member of this forum last year. I am a stock holder who is long, and way down; but going to hold on till sink or swim. I am an inventor who has just received patent pending status on an invention which I feel Mannkind may have interest in developing, or potentially partnering with my company on for future works. It has great potential in the realm of Diabetes, and particularly if coupled with a variation of Afrezza. Does anyone here know who to contact at MNKD, for potential product development? Dream Boat? Thank you! Also - if this is the wrong place to have posted this, I am sorry - steer me in the right direction and I will repost there! Mankind Afrezza dreamboat has come with two types of packages to distinguish the type 1 from type 2 diabetic patients. One is labeled for type 1 users only. Another labeled with type 2 to avoid the confusion of the users and doctor, IMHO. Genius idea. You may have to drop a line to Mike. |

and where do u suggest stick the safety info where people will be able to read the safety warnings along with the ad - unless the bill board is so huge. But you are free to dream and post your not so practical ideas. 2 billboards.  I guess you wear 2 pants?  one for each leg. |

Is it legal to advertise drugs in Canada prior to approval? No, but that's not what happened. One person in Ontario Province, which borders the U.S., saw an Afrezza commercial that presumably aired on a U.S. TV channel. No illegality and no "running TV advertisement in Canada." lol and it became "MannKind has been running TV advertisement in Canada". I get it now. Thank you |

Does anybody think that it's significant that MannKind has been running TV advertisement in Canada? I think it's significant. It makes sense that Mike C waited until STAT was made public and then, with the product presumably worth more, proceeded with 1) final negotiations on a term sheet with Canadian entity and 2) running ads in Canada. This appears to me a likely scenario. Of course, I have no evidence. It will be fun to watch. I'm buying more this week. I'm guessing that the spectre of dilution is vanquished by sales ramp up in August.Unless sales sky rocket adding 1000's scripts a week.. There still needs to be a way to raise cash and pay bills. It could be a partner with upfront $$ or it would be selling shares to raise $.

Does anybody think that it's significant that MannKind has been running TV advertisement in Canada? I am not sure if its significant but I am sure its a waste of $$$. As its not approved and available in Canada yet. Or is it? And are these ads web ads or TV ads.
If they are web ads , the advertiser is targeting the wrong geographic. Have seen that happen many times.

Ny reason why they haven't looked for a partner and applied in Canada? Seems like that would be a fairly easy approval. If they have signed a partner in India and Brazil, why do u think they havent looked? If they havent looked , then it means they intend to keep the rights.
Is that so hard?

How did DXCM compensate the loss and meeting the quarterly expenses that long? Did they have enough $ ? ( By dilution or by debt ?) If you have done so much digging, I am sure you must have an idea on the same.

People have short memory mnkd.proboards.com/thread/9097/deerfield-13fDeerfield is not in the business of investing. They provide debt and have ways to recover debt. This filing is for the shares they received for exchange. Once they re allocate the shares to shares that are shorted - they will no longer be a 5% owner. Isnt that what happened last time? |

Can someone explain to me what is going on? All I read time and again is Deerfield shorts and covers on the private placements. Then we see this today Deerfield Mgmt, L.P. – 14,576,376 shares Deerfield Management Company, L.P. – 14,576,376 shares Deerfield Private Design Fund II, L.P. – 9,863,092 shares Deerfield Private Design International II, L.P. – 10,463,284 shares James E. Flynn – 14,576,376 shares If I added correctly thats almost 64million shares. Assuming about 150M outstanding shares does Jim/Deerfield really control over 40% of the company? If so, is Jim Flynn nuts or does he know something the rest of the market doesn't? Assuming he is not nuts, whats the end game for Jim? Clearly its not bankruptcy.
BTW - I saw he use to have DeerField lucky number is 14,576,376 . Hence they bought the same amount of shares in 3 accounts. |

Be honest. You don’t hate to be negative, you sold at 33 cents. He said he sold at 33 cents prior to the reverse split, which equates to $1.65, which is higher than where we are now... did it trade at 33 cents prior to reverse split? |

agedhippie, i think this is the first positive post i read from you. So you do think afrezza will eventually be a blockbusters? In your opinion, what Will be the mnkd mc at that point? how does it matter what agedhippie thinks? under a $ or 2 $ or 10 $. No one can predict anything. |
